Make, repair, update that large clock with this high torque quartz movement (silent sweep) with extended shaft for extra clearance when running long balance hands, and 17-3/4" (#3) balanced metal hands...... High torque motor with 7/16" (11mm) threaded shaft x 5/16" in diameter...... This is a continuous motion high torque motor, no stepping of gears, most quiet high torque motor available..... Those of you with keen hearing will greatly appreciate it's quietness......See my other auctions for other styles and lengths...... NOTE: minute hand is measured from center of mounting hole to end tip of hand..... Total minute hand length is 20.5", end to tip and is balanced..... Hour hand measures 13" center of mounting hole to end tip, total 15-7/8" end to end..... Motor 2-1/8" sq x 5/8" Threaded shaft length 7/16", total length including hand stem is 13/16"...... 3 yr factory warranty on defects......... includes mounting hardware: rubber and brass washers, hex and end cap nuts requires one "AA" battery (not incl.)....,,, I also have 1/4" & 9/16" threaded shafts, optional in place of the furnished 7/16" shaft...... If so, please advise on checkout. HANDS: minute hand measured from end tip to center of mounting hole...... MEASURING DIAL FOR HAND SIZE: measure from top of #12 to bottom of #6, divide in half...... This will give your approx. minute hand length...... Hands are made of metal, may be painted any color...use a primer then color coat. Weak Motor
Then motor does not have enough power to turn the long hands. Worked intermittently.

Not worth the price needs a better mechanism
Hands are VERY thin and bend easy. The clock mechanism actually doesn’t have the strength to move the hands once they are in the 6 o’clock position. Every day my clock is right only twice

... figured out which hand went on top it was easy. I was disappointed in the packaging
Once I figured out which hand went on top it was easy. I was disappointed in the packaging, however. The minute hand was bent over to fit into the mailing tube. Fortunately it bent back easily. I was afraid that I would not be able to straighten it out without it being noticeable. It all worked out and is working beautifully now.
