These feel like that are almost velvety, and they are so sturdy! They are soft inside and I cannot feel any heat coming through them at all. The colour is soooo pretty too. They fit wonderfully, have a good weight to them and are so gosh darned comfortable! Just don't error on your side and leave them on the stove top or near any open flames. Like anything, that's on you if you somehow burn these up or get holes and tears in them. These are made Extremely Well. They do come with the little loops to hang them up. That's a good sign. Use them or store them in a drawer! They will last you a long time. They can be washed but NOT in the washer and dryer!!! Just run them under warm water and use a little bit of dawn dish soap and they will be like brand new on the outside. Don't get the inside wet. It will take awhile for them to dry. Like I said, Common sense is everything. ;)

Quality Quality Quality and cute too! Used one tonight to pull a hot pan out of the oven and didn't feel a bit of heat and felt my entire hand up over the wrist was very safe reaching into the oven. These 2 gloves are awesome and I love the turquoise color. They're 'big' not fitted and I don't want a fitted oven mitt. These can make a fun gift too.
