Handy little ph meter
So I finally got one of these little digital pens to check my water and honestly it has made me feel like a total scientist in my own kitchen. I used to just stare at the tap and wonder if everything was okay but now I can just dip this in and see the numbers pop up right away 💧 It is basically like having a tiny expert living in your drawer who tells you exactly what is going on with your drinks so you dont have to guess anymore. I was actually suprised by how fast it works because I thought it would take ages to get a reading but it is usually done before I can even finish humming a little tune. It is super light and thin too which is great because it doesn't take up any space at all and I can even take it with me when I go to visit my parents 🏠 You just pop the cap off and stick it in the glass and then boom you have all the info you need right there on the screen. I accidentally left the cap off for a few hours once and I was worried I broke it but I just rinsed it off and it kept on working like a total champ. The best part is that the screen is really bright so I can even use it in the morning when I am still half asleep and havent turned all the lights on yet ☀️ I basically just point and click and it handles all the complicated math for me which is perfect since I am definitely not a fan of doing science experiments before I have had my coffee. It fits right in my pocket too so I can even use it to check the water at the gym or when I am out on a long walk in the park. If you are someone who likes to know exactly what is going on with your hydration then this is basically a little dream come true 🥤 Just make sure you keep the sensor clean or you might get some funny readings that make you tilt your head in confusion. I am honestly thinking about getting one for my friend who has a huge aquarium because it is so much easier than those messy drop kits with all the different colors. It is just a fun little tool that makes my daily life feel a lot more organized and I think you would really enjoy how simple it makes everything feel 🌟 It is basically like a magic wand for your water glass which is pretty cool if you think about it. I am very happy with it and I think it is going to stay right next to my favorite mugs for a very long time.

Very satisfied
Works great and not complicated

Cheap but works
Works ok for short term use. Loses calibration quickly. Would get 2 or 3 and use them all at the same time for anything sensitive.

Useless, it's now in the garbage getting inaccurate pH readings of my trash
Calibrated it per the instructions which stated I only needed to do the 6.86 pH test per if only .1 plus or minus accuracy is needed, versus plus or minus .01 accuracy, in which case you should calibrate it using all 3 pH powder packets (6.86, 4.00 and 9.18). Rinsed sensors with distilled water and let dry. Then I tested the accuracy with distilled water, which should be around a 7 neutral pH. The thing just started in the high sixes and just continually counted down slowly to the 5.XX, then 4.XX, then 3.XX, etc., never once settling on a pH. Would've kept going but I removed it from the distilled water. Then I pulled the batteries to reset it and decided to test it again with all 3 pH packets. Did the 6.86 fine. Rinsed with distilled water and let dry. Moved on to the 4.00. Calibrated fine. Rinsed and let dry. When I tried to calibrate for 9.18, the meter went in the high 8's and I held the calibrate button for 5 seconds per the instructions ("when the reading is close to 9.18, press the CAL button for 5 seconds). Did that and the screen then showed that it had been calibrated for 6.86 rather than 9.18, which obviously completely ruins the purpose of a calibration test and throws the calibrations all out of whack. That's when I threw it away. I guess you get what you pay for. In this case I paid 12 bucks for an hour of wasted time and a pH meter that doesn't work at all, even when you are trying to calibrate it per the manufacturer's specifications.

Aquarium and House Plants--Water Testing
This is my third pH meter from a different manufacturer and happy that I took the chance to try this out. All three meters that I have bought have different maintenance instructions. I've been comparing them to find out what works best. The Apera brand has better instructions that are easy to understand and seems to work best. But it costs significantly more. This Roulan is the least expensive brand that I could find. Yet it functions acceptably.

I just don't trust it.
Though straightforward and simple to use, this pH meter just behaves erratically in my hands. I'm a lab scientist, and I've used multi-hundred dollar meters many times. I don't expect this to be that. But I do expect it to give -roughly- the same measurement each time I use it, and to behave predictably. Even after it's been calibrated with the included standard buffers, this thing's reading drifts like crazy. I'm using it to pH-adjust nutrient solution to water my houseplants, and it takes a long time to stabilize once you put it into the solution. Even when (if?) the pH value settles on a single reading, the values don't always align with other readouts (3-pad pH dipsticks and General Hydroponics 5.5 - 8 pH solution). This meter does broadly correlate with approximate pH. It's not a nothing-meter. Maybe it would be more stable in strongly buffered solutions, or useful for science demos comparing strongly acidic or alkaline substances. But for my needs, it's too noisy and unreliable to trust my plants' health to.

Great PH meter, works like its supposed to to

Excellent meter.
Great meter, I use it constantly with my fish tank. Three range calibration packets are sent with the device, however you only need to calibrate with the range packet that you most want to use. If you calibrate for 7.0 , then the extreme measurements are not accurate. So you can only really use it very accurately in the range you calibrate. I periodically cross reference it with an accurate litmus test and its always dead on, and I have not seen any drift. I use it for quick measurements, its faster and more convenient than a litmus test.

Mala compra
Se necesita calibrar, para poder usarlos, y los productos que requieren para la calibracion, son muy difíciles de conseguir, y por lo tanto, no he podido usarlos, para lo que los compré
