Great resource with a glaring omission
It's a great well-desired course perfect for an ESL context and still pretty good for an EFL context. Richards is one of the world's foremost authors of TESOL material, and this Passages series shows how much his work has developed over the year. However, I have one HUGE complaint with this latest offering: the audio files *required* for the lessons are no longer provided, either with the book or online, and must be purchased separately ($65 on the Cambridge website). It should be noted prominently when ordering this source that the audio CDs need to be purchased. This resource is no bargain.

What I liked most was that the book arrived the day after the purchase. I needed to go to school urgently.
