I had no idea these existed and I had no idea they were necessary. They solved my problem. The drain overflow pan in my attic HVAC had started dripping through my vent. The pipe that directed the water outside filled up with life. These tablets did a great job.

I put a mini-split in my home office so I can condition just that space to the temp I prefer when I'm the only one home. I love it, but the condensate line starts getting backed up with "gunk" (super scientific term) after only a month or so and when that happens, the condensate tray holds water and the fan starts spitting it out into the room. I cut these tablets up into 4 pieces and slip 1/4 tab at a time into the condensate tray on the first of the month and that problem has stopped. It'd be cool if they made these even smaller for those of us using these for mini-splits, as they tend to crumble a bit when you cut them, but the product definitely works and it's worth the effort to keep the condensate line running clear.

Im in my 70's and I cant crawl around an attic where my air handler is like I use to. So when I'm doing my pre summer PM of my three ton central air system I stack two of these tablets in my condensate pan and Im good for the summer, one and done! No more putting half dozen tablets in every few weeks. The only con to these tablets is they dont last as long as advertised like some other reviewers have said. Thats why I stack them, but even then they are still a great value, and the two tabs last all summer. Hvac Guys make other products that are better suited in my minisplit system as well. I've tried a lot of different products by other companies but Hvac Guys products have worked the best for both of my systems.

I have been using these since I installed my new AC in 2024. Used as directed and they work great! I use one tab per month (broken in half) in a 2 1/2 ton unit. One box of tabs last me 18 months. Well worth the price!

These a/c tabs are the best! We always use them to ensure our air conditioner stays healthy and does not clog. We live in Florida, so our a/c works overtime all the time. These tabs are perfect for a/c health and keeps the repairs in check.

These tables don't last 3 weeks, let alone the claimed 3 months... Put them in my units, and a couple weeks later, almost all gone...

I only recently started taking care of my AC(in a condo) and I saved so much money compared to having to call a maintenance guy and spend $300 every couple of years. I love that those tablets last 3 months. I also bought their coil cleaner and my new routine is perfect. Every 3 months I change the filter, spray the coils, drop a tablet and be done! Easy and efficient!

So after reading many review I decided on this product. I've been having an issue with my 1 year old ac window unit clogging. I live in Florida it is very humid and I run this unit year round unfortunately the drain to the drip pan started clogging. Luckly on window unit it is easy to access but it is hard to find metal cloth hangers these days. I did manage to MacGyver something to declog the drain. It didn't last long and I started to notice a slimy build up. After a 20 mins of Webucation and a few hours of review I got this product. At first I was cutting the in half to finagle the into the front drip pan but the desolve to easly when cut. I hope they decide to make smaller ones for windows unit. I started using whole disk in front drip pan. Take a little work to get it in the but seems fine. These things are amazing it de-slimed my unit and got rid of the musty smell comming from the unit.

This product outclasses by far all others I have tried on this site! The common type of white chalk-like tabs sold by other manufacturers last on average no more than a day or two and require constant checking if drip tray needs replenish. I can’t say if any of these orange gels will last a month or more as claimed (since I’ve only recently started using them) but I can confirm that a single tab ( the pack contains 16 ) split in two with one part placed upstream inside the drip pan and the other near the drain mouth of my 12 000 BTU split wall air conditioning's unit comfortably got me through a full week of severe heat wave. I expect 1 tab every two or three weeks should do a fine job while leaving your mind at peace and off spills and overflows onto your expensive floor 😩 By all calculations these cost less per usage than the gamut of poor products sold elsewhere. I highly recommend this product. As a plus they deliver a very subtle fragrance that is much unlike the awful moldy smell from AC that welcomes you when entering your home.
