Screen Opening Tool 2 PCS Opening Pliers Cellphone Suction Cup Screen Repair Kit for Mobile Phone Tablet Laptop

Bought this double-suction clamp to open up my iPhone 8 Plus to change the battery. The screen was really like solidly stuck on the iphone and the rinky dinky little suction cup that came with the new battery would not do the job (me thinks that's because of the higher water resistance requiring the screen to be really sealed tight). Therefore needed this double-suction clamp. Instructions say to use clamp at the bottom end of the iphone by the home button -- BUT it was better for me to use it from the left side of the phone. It just worked better that way for me. The clamp also fortunately came with a metal spudger blade tool to help separate and open up the screen. Double-suction clamp plus metal spudger tool was worth the cost paid. The clamp looks big and large yet it is easy and comfortable to use. It works. Therefore able to open up the iphone to change the battery. Recommend you consider this for your iphone repair kit. Thanks Amazon!

Great little tool to help lift of the phones glass with out breaking it

Both sides of the thin metal knife work really well combined with my hot air rework station. I was able to remove the broken tablet glass with ease. I tried using the suction cup tool but it doesn't really hold too well with the tablets I've tried it on. The knife by itself made the purchase worth it. The only issue I had was when I received the package there is what looked like what I'm hoping is some kind of machine lubricant on the outside of the box. I've attached images but I don't think it was the seller's fault for this. I took off one star for the suction cups not working that well and whatever the substance was because It was all over the outside of the box.

These tools made it simple to open my iPhone to replace the battery. I used a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive, then used the opening pliers to lightly pull on the screen while I used the spudger to pry between the edge of the screen and the case. Light pressure on the pliers is all that is needed, and carefully work your way around the screen with the pry tool until the screen is fully detached.

The suction cup plyers are pretty much useless.. I had to fully abandon using them.. my phone would not stay supported in the spring-loaded "holder". However, the metal opening tool was very useful.. the screen still cracked in the process, but it was going to be replaced regardless.

I bought this to remove a tempered glass screen protector that didn't fit correctly, so I could return it. Kind of a pain that I had to buy something so I could return something that wasn't as advertised, but that has nothing to do with this product. This product worked great, and easily removed the screen protector.

So inexpensive and effective, highly recommended.
