LG Electronics AN-WF500 Wi-Fi Bluetooth USB Dongle for Select 2014 LG TVs

works as Great with the AN-WF600 on my LG-55UF6800. This TV did not come with the magic remote, but documentation said it could be ordered. You Do Need the this dongle to get the Magic Remote to work. It really does make the TV more functional as far as being able to use the remote. You can scroll, voice search, and use like a mouse. I explored features on the TV I had not used because of navigation, with the Magic Remote, it's much easier to navigate.

I bought this LG Bluetooth dongle to go with the LG TV remote for my LG Smart TV. Set up was a breeze, it worked right out of the box and connected with my new Bluetooth remote without issue. This AN-WF500 along with the AN-MR500 Bluetooth remote has opened up the experience of my new LG Smart TV. No more using the arrows on a remote to search the keyboard to spell out the word for a desired movie or whatever I might be searching for. It's like using a mouse on your computer to point and select each letter or number or anything that is on the screen on your Smart TV available to select. The only thing that would be better would be a Bluetooth keyboard but then I'm not sure I want that along with remotes, laptop, kindle, tablet, smart phone and all the other items I have sitting next to my chair in the living room

I have this lg tv downstairs in the reck room. Used it maybe 10 times. The bluetooth dongle worked great for the limited that I used it. Now it's dead. Will not light up. the smart remote no longer works because of the defective bluetooth dongle. Now what?

It works great, but the LED light never worked, so my first impression was that the unit was faulty. But it works fine without the little LED that is supposed to tell if it is connected.

I am using this with a 2015 49UF6400 TV, it allows me to use the Magic Remote (AN-MR600). Without this dongle the remote would only have limited use such as changing channels, volume and power. Now I can use the onscreen pointer like a mouse which is much easier when using the TV's browser and other Smart features, although the voice command is still not supported. It is also very small (only about 1" x 2") and there is nothing to set up or configure. One frustrating thing with this part is there is no info anywhere saying exactly what TV's and devices it supports. I spent hours researching and only found conflicting information. My TV manual shows it as a optional accessory, but I still wasn't sure if it was required for the Magic Remote because it says it's only needed for certain TV's and the manual is for 28 different TV models!

I first just ordered the LG AN500 magic remote used off Craigslist, but it would only turn the TV on or off. After a couple of calls to LG, they said I needed this Dongle, which I paid more for than the used remote! Anyway, it allowed use of all features on the remote. A must for many LG TV's. Some of the newest models do have this unit built in though, so check with LG before purchasing.

I needed this to get the LG ANMR60 magic remote to work for my TV, and it did. Why only 2 stars and not 5? Because of the fact I had to buy this thing in the first place! I mean come on! This TV was 900 bucks (at the time I bought it) You think they'd include bluetooth capability since they sell bluetooth accessories. But nope! LG you did it again. Hs worked perfectly with our LG TV. We bought an LG that did not come standard with the magic remote, but could be upgraded by adding this dongle and ordering the remote, it has worked without error since the day we installed it and it was a 1 minute process to install it, ie plug it into a USB port and velcro it to the back of the TV.

Il cavo in dotazione risulta lungo a sufficienza per arrivare a poco più di metà televisore (ho i modelli 370 da 32"), molto resistente l'adesivo per attaccare il velcro alla superficie di appoggio e, dato il peso ridotto, non ci sono problemi di tenuta. Una volta collegato, la procedura si attiva automaticamente, partendo dalla ricerca delle linee wifi e all'inserimento di utente e password. Da notare che ha una potenza notevole, sempre 3 barrette anche dove telefoni e tablet arrivano a sole 2. Una votla effettuato l'accesso, potrete usare le app pre-installate oppure installarne di nuove (per farlo dovrete registrarvi sul sito lg world e consiglio di farlo via web dato che inserire i dati col telecomando è lento). Ottima e stabile anche la funzione bluetooth e wifi direct. Prodotto consigliatissimo, aspettate che sia sotto i 20 euro e prendetelo. CONSIGLI: - se avete bisogno di più cavo, usatene uno normalissimo da ricarica cellulare; - registratevi via web perché digitare i propri dati con il telecomando classico è macchinoso; - quando scaricate le app le trovate poi anche nella barra che compare col tasto del telecomando "my apps" Nelle foto potete farvi un'idea delle dimensioni e della lunghezza del cavo in dotazione.

Primero probé con un adaptador WiFi USB genérico, pero al no funcionar me vi en la obligación de comprar éste oficial para mi modelo de 2014. Tras la decepción inicial de tener que tirar de la marca obligatoriamente, he de decir que funciona a la perfección. El televisor lo detecta rápidamente y la configuración es sencillísima, pues escanea las redes WiFi disponibles y sólo hay que seleccionar la adecuada e introducir la contraseña. Una vez hecho esto, ya se tiene acceso a la función de Smart TV del televisor y con ello a plataformas de streaming como YouTube o Netflix, que son los que más utilizo para la reproducción de contenidos en Full HD sin cortes ni artefactos en la imagen. Si no puedes acceder a la función Smart TV porque tu televisor LG no incluye WiFi de serie, es 100% recomendable.

wow i got this tiny little adapter about 10 minutes ago witch i needed to use my magic remote and it just works perfectly zero set up time plug it into tv via usb lead witch is included and the theres a sticy velcro pad to stick it to back of tv well impressed worth the every penny if you want use magic remote oh and recomend you do it is so much better for contorling your smart tv AMAZING

Hallo! Ich habe mir einen LG 60PB660 Plasma-TV zugelegt. Einen im Haushalt vorrätigen WiFi-Stick erkannte der Fernseher nicht. Diverse Seiten im Internet durchforstet und festgestellt, dass es wohl einer von LG selbst sein muss. ...nur welcher? Die Homepage von LG ist in der Hinsicht sehr dürftig gestaltet. Informationen bekommt man nicht. Dann gab es ja bei Amazon den AN-WF 100, der bei älteren Modellen funktionierte, bei neueren aber wohl Probleme machte bzw. eben nicht funktionierte. Ich habe auf der amerikanischen LG-Seite endlich eine aussagekräftige Beschreibung des hier genannten AN-WF 500 gefunden. Demnach ist dieser für die aktuellen Modelle geeignet (wobei leicht abweichende Bezeichnungen zwischen den amerikanischen TV-Modellen und den deutschen bestehen). Also bestellt, angeschlossen und innerhalb von 1 Sekunde erkannt! Top! Der Rest der Einrichtung war ein Kinderspiel. Hier nochmal die Modelle, die laut beiliegender Anleitung unterstützt werden: LED-LCD-TV: Serien LB49, LB57, LB58, LB61, LB63, LB65, LB83 Plasma-TV: Serie PB66 Außerdem verfügt der Dongle über eine Bluetooth-Funktion, mit der diverse Headsets und Dockinglautsprecher verbunden werden können. Ich hoffe, es hilft dem einen oder anderen. Résumé de mes achats LG= ATTENTION de ne pas vous faire piéger également: * J'ai acheté une TV LG led 42LB5800 (internet par Wifi très très pratique pour la navigation) * J'ai acheté la télécommande LG AN-MR500 : fonction vocale, curseur souris sur l'écran TV à détection gestuelle / gyroscopique Mais je me suis fais berner / avoir par la médiocrité du service clientèle et technique de LG. La télécommande n'a JAMAIS voulu se synchroniser avec ma TV pour le mode "curseur souris / mode vocal / touche OK via la roulette" Appel du SAV LG ==> réponse après 30 minutes de test = Télécommande HS ==> je la renvoie Nouvelle télécommande reçu 4 semaines plus tard (échange sur Pixmania délai long suite rupture de stock) Nouvel essai sur TV LG ==> télécommande toujours IMPOSSIBLE à valider / enregistrer / synchroniser avec ma TV Second appel au SAV LG ==> 30 minutes de test / essai / réinitialisation = toujours RIEN ne fonctionne ! Il me dise = panne carte infrarouge + module carte mère Il envoie un technicien à domicile. Il passe 1h30 à tester ma télécommande + démonter / remonter des nouveaux composants ouvrir le cœur de ma TV toute neuve (1 mois ! ) TOUJOURS en panne !!!! Il appelle son CHEF technicien = Problème trouvé ==> pour ma TV avec cette télécommande il faut simplement le boitier LG AN-WF500 !!!! Car en fait la télécommande fonctionne sur 2 modes de transmission: * l'infrarouge (qui a toujours marché sans souci ) * le Bluetooth de la télécommande pour les fonctions internet et multimédia Pas de module de réception Bluetooth sur ma TV !!! Mais les gammes au-dessus de la mienne OUI !!! Résultat = toutes ses pertes d'énergie de temps de renvoi de produit +d'échange téléphonique pour un simple problème de compatibilité Bluetooth !!! C'est pas faute d'avoir donner à LG les références / modèles / N° de série de mes produits LG (TV + télécommande) = ils auraient dû immédiatement percuter et me dire qu'il fallait obligatoirement le boitier BLUETOOTH LG AN-WF500 !!!! En fait ce boitier LG AN-WF500 est WIFI + BLUETOOTH mais le dénommé comme multimédia...??? je vois pas trop pourquoi ??? CONCLUSION POSITIVE : - avec ce boitier USB LG AN-WF500 + ma télécommande LG AN-MR500 je profite à 100% des fonctions internet de ma TV LG led 42LB5800 CONCLUSION NEGATIVE : - médiocrité et professionnalisme bas de gamme des techniciens et SAV téléphoniques LG - j'ai tenté de négocier auprès d'LG l'offre gratuite du boiter LG AN-WF500 pour dédommagement de toute cette perte de temps / argent / apepl téléphonique, mais LG n'a pas voulu faire un geste commercial de 35 euros !!!!
