I’ve always been a tuna consumer and lover of. However, a few years ago I acquired severe Mercury Poisoning and took a few years off it to bring my levels down. I like this Tuna a lot, as it’s a smaller fish and hopefully has less Mercury. Light tuna tastes more strong, a bit like cat food I imagine since most is made from skipjack. I can Doctor this tuna up to make it quite delectable. I add a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil, some dried dill, and a pinch of cayenne. This tuna is really good quality compared to others. Yes, a bit more pricey, but worth it. It’s soft, smooth, light. Easier to digest too. My only complaint is with the can. It’s hard to open it completely, and sometimes toward the end the loop breaks off. Other than that, this is superior canned fish.

All the reviews cover the quality of this tuna perfectly. Chunk rather than flakes, great flavor, line caught, lower salt, etc., but I did not see a true cost analysis. The tuna I used to buy was a 5 ounce can. I would compress it to squeeze out the water, which reduces the salt. Once that compression was done, there was 2.5 ounces of tuna. With Wild Planet no salt added tuna, when I lift out the chunk, which has little water in it, and weigh it, it's 4 ounces. That is 60 percent more tuna in the can, folks. My old tuna is about 80 cents per can. If you added 60 percent to that, it would be $1.28 per can. As I write this, Wild Planet no salt added tuna is less than $2 per can if you order 12 cans. Trust me, this tuna blows away the cheaper canned tuna and is more than worth the difference. Even my cats "just say no" to my old tuna. They run like wildfire to get a little taste of the Wild Planet :) Load up while you can!

This is the no salt added best tuna ever! I'm on a very low sodium diet, I love tuna, this stuff is a godsend. I can only find it in one or two stores that are not near me. This is a better price than I found in the store.

Love this brand. I order from them regularly, any and all their products. Good price point for a quality product, not that I rate on price. I was able to buy my most recent pack on super sale, so the best by date is coming up soon, but I have no qualms with that. Canned tuna will last for years. If not buying on sale, then the date is probably a couple years out. Just pole & line caught tuna with a pinch of salt. Not packed in anything else. No added water, no oil. Nada.

This tuna is the best. I used to buy Bumblebee in recent years is not the same. You will not be disappointed
