Good choice for in-home wheelchair transfer assist
The product is good quality and was reasonably easy to install. However, I did not use the ceiling installation component that came with the Trapeze because it needed to be installed into the ceiling studs/floor joists of the room above. The included component was not right for that installation. Instead, I used large eye-screw to safely attach the Trapeze to the wood studs.

Great quality
I purchased this for my disabled uncle when he needed a new one. Same quality as the hospital supply store for 1/3 of the price.

Very useful tool for elderly and those assisting them.
My grandpa is basically bed bound now and we use this to help him sit up for meals. He will use what little strength he has to make some space for us to wedge a pillow behind his lower back. Besides physical assistance, it has also actually made a difference psychologically for him as he likes to think of it as exercise. He gets a kick out of using it. One caveat: instead of mounting this to the ceiling, I actually looped it around the foot of my grandfather’s bed. His home still has popcorn ceilings so I was not in the mood to mess with all that. I’m sure the manufacturer has specific recommended uses that does not include improvisations like this, so if you plan on attaching this to something other than the ceiling like I did, obviously you’ll want to make sure it’s secure.

Well made but colors vary
Well made and strongly supportive, but colors vary. I ordered two for a single room and they don’t match: very disappointing. Would be 5 stars if they matched. I got one black strap with a pale grey ring and one medium grey strap with a medium grey ring. Either is fine, but they should be alike. 🤷🏻♀️ The strap is adjustable, which is great, and the adjustment clip is sturdy. The included hardware is quite heavy duty and well finished; very professional. One note: this should not be used in drywall for supporting heavy weight. The ring and strap will support significant weight but drywall won’t. Find some studs or add another way to anchor it.

Holds me up at 200 lbs
When anchored right, and I just used drywall screws and washer into studs behind the ceiling. I'm able to put all my weight into it. I actually use it for pull ups. I had a recent back surgery, as to why I needed this. Straps very secure.

Strong, heavy duty Trapeze
If you install this correctly, it is a very strong piece of equipment. My 250 lb can pull up on it just fine. Helps immensley with any mobility issues.

Two Problems - Very Limited Use
MUST be mounted to a concrete ceiling. Do you live in a concrete bunker? The picture in the listing clearly shows a minimum OVERALL strap length of 45". That is just the main one piece strap that is not adjustable. There is a second adjustable strap with buckle hardware. The actual overall minimum strap length is much longer, making the trapeze handle too close to the bed to be useful in a room with a standard 8 foot high ceiling.

After spending 18 months in hospital with no physio my wife had no muscle tone in abdomen and arms. With the trapeze she is now able to help me move her and is building up tone in her arms.

My husband is a C5/6 quadriplegic so his independence using a trapeze bar is very important. He says a larger opening (like a triangle shape) would be better but this gets the job done. The handle being made of plastic sure beats the usual metal material. We only needed the handle and nylon strapping (not the bolts, etc.) as we attached the strapping and handle to his existing stand alone trapeze bar. I did quite a bit of research to find a handle similar to the one we brought home from Australia and this was the closest we could find...in fact have been looking for this here in N.A. for several years and this is the first time I found this. This handle will be used as our back up strapping/handle that will go with our back up trapeze bar that we use for traveling.

Overall the quality of the product is good. However the supplied fasteners are meant for use in concrete, not a drywalled ceiling which is what you probably have. If you do have a drywalled ceiling be prepared to find a ceiling joist (buy a stud finder) and mount into it with 2 large long wood screws. (gives you 2 mounting points)
