Great spray paint recommend does a great job.
Decided to buy this after reading the good reviews on Amazon and was not disappointed. It was used over a grey primer on gold door handle letter box a door trim . It was easy to use with minimal mess and we are delighted with end result. It has given the front door new look and covers the worn gold handle letter box and door thresh . It has give a smooth cover and is a lovely colour. Hoping it lasts but we do have plenty left if it needs a touch up.

Incredible chrome finish, but fades over time and is a little fragile
This produces a lustre that looks like chrome, but the bright finish dulls over time if not lacquered over. The problem is the chrome surface is so smooth that the lacquer didn't stick firmly, so probably a bit to fragile to use for 're-chroming' car parts

Although this is a good product it does not look like chrome.
With the correct preparation it looks good & covers well with 2 or 3 coats.

Genuinely awesome 👌
Sprayed plastic and steel and wood, only one coat needed ,you might need 2 coats on wood ,it depends on density. Really fine spray, fantastic coverage, super colour, nice and bright, if you spray twice it Really pops.

Genuinely shiny
I took a chance on this paint after seeing photos with one review which actually looked shiny and gave me hope, while all the others for this and other products make it look unshiny and grey. The upper tube in both of my pictures is made of clear resin and has been sprayed with the paint. One picture compares this to a couple of tin whistles (made of nickel) while the other has an aluminium tube beside it. The paint is slightly shinier than the nickel and almost as shiny as the aluminium. Look carefully at the first picture and you'll see reflections of the holes of the nearer tin whistle, and of its label. (The blue and green spots on the tubes are reflections of Christmas lights, while the red and orange ones don't show up as they're less intense.) There's a plastic sheet underneath which was also sprayed in the process of coating the resin tube, but I inverted it for the second photo to show you that it's less shiny on the side contacting the plastic sheet, although that plastic isn't entirely transparent, so I haven't yet tested how it would work on better plastic than the liner of a corn flake packet. I'll do that experiment next time - I don't want to try it now as every usage of a spray paint risks clogging it up and losing the rest of the content, but I'll come back and edit this later once I have done it as it may be relevant to some applications, such as putting it on glass where it would be interesting to see how mirror-like it might be. What am I using this for? I make flutes out of resin (clear epoxy), sometimes by building them up in layers on a rotating bore mould. (The one shown here has an undulating width due to it being made out of five shorter sections combined together while each layer of resin added is gradually straightening it out - it's an experiment to test a specific diameter of bore without wasting a lot of silicone rubber on a full length bore mould.) I've been embedding silver foil in flute tubes before covering them with more resin with alcohol inks added to work in combination with the silver foil to create metallic colours, but there can be delamination issues caused by epoxy not bonding to plastic film, so I wanted to try a silver spray paint to see if that would simplify and speed up construction, but wasn't sure it would be shiny enough to work. I can now see that it clearly is: it's less shiny than silver foil (the coated plastic type; not tin foil), but it really does come out looking like metal, while coating it with a layer of clear resin will also make it robust.

As close as it gets!
I bought this paint for a set of custom headlights. The price of chroming would have set me back a few hundred. I’ve tried a fair few “chrome” paints and this is as close as it gets. Whilst it’s nothing like the real deal, it does have a very reflective quality to it. I’ve tried to capture the depth from shadows cast on it and when light shines on it on my photos. This is a smooth plastic with an etch primer base, sanded up to 1200 grit and then painted. There is still orange peel due to the type of nozzle. I daren’t sand the paint as it may lose its gloss. When I did a tester with 2k lacquer, the gloss faded and it was a flat silver. The paint chips easily on plastic, and can loose it’s shine if touched with bare hands. It doesn’t seem to bind with primer like car paints. TLDR: The paint is as close to chrome as I’ve gotten from a rattle can. Sanding primer to a stupidly high grit may get you better results. Don’t sand or apply lacquer afterwards. Leave it to dry for a good few hours. My bezels were still tacky after 3 hours at room temp. If you use it on plastic, be prepared for it to lose its gloss if touched with bare hands. This is paint. It will never look as good as chrome. But it’s one of the better chrome paints I’ve tried and probably would look better on a well maintained metal surface than plastic.

BRILLIANT COVERAGE/COLOUR
This is an Amazing paint spray. I had used cheaper ones before, same size. But this is 110% better. The cover is brilliant and the colour is Amazing. Also you use less because it covers so well. Will definately buy again when i run out.

Chrome paint covered well
Arrived in good time. I decided to paint some chrome ceiling led light fittings in the bathroom which had deteriated over the years. Applied 2 coats about an hour apart and that was sufficient to give a good finish. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the finish colour is more grey than chrome. However, I was actually happy with the colour and would recommend the paint unless you definitely require a shiny chrome finish.
