I replaced the nine gear old original earcups from my Peltor Comtacs. They have been leaking gel for a while now and I didn't realize how bad they really were until I found these and finally replaced them (see second pic: new cup on left, old on right) If you've looked into replacing your contacts earcups, you'll know the OEM ones are $60-80. These are not explicitly for comtac models, however the dimensions of the rim are the same and they snapped securely into place with no wriggling or movement. The molding on the back is different than the originals (see first pic: new on the left, old on right), however when installed they appear nearly identical to the OEM cups. I have not yet taken these to the range, however these are genuine 3M cups designed for hearing protection, so I expect them to perform like the OEM

Easy replacement for the old, worn-out ear seals on my Peltor Tactical 6S muffs. These gel cushions seal very effectively and do a great job attenuating the sound. Comfortable to wear.

Originally brought an aftermarket brand that I returned, but don't waist your time. These are a perfect replacement for the older bluetooth work tunes connect. They fit, snap into place and work well, comfortable, provide excellent noise reduction,/ sound quality. Go with 3M they are the best and we'll worth the money.

These are a must have upgrade for your headset. I have these installed on my sport tac 500 and the increase in comfort is definitely worth the cost. The description doesn't mention it but these also fit my Comtac V headset so it would likely fit other Comtac headsets as well.

I contacted 3M to make sure these would fit my WorkTunes Connect with Bluetooth, part number 90543-4DC. They responded and said these are the ONLY replacements at this time so it seems the original foam pads are no longer made. The first attempt to remove the original pad per the instructions resulted in the pad coming off the yellow base plate. The base plate has to be removed to install the new gel pads. I had to use a small screwdriver between the base plate and housing to get it to snap out. Going back together was fairly easy. The thin foam and fabric inner was stuck in the old base plate and had to be removed and placed in the earpiece before installing the new pads. I installed the new by hooking one side in and working around the pad until it finally snapped in. Be aware it can pinch your finger if you get it between the pad base and the housing. (ask me how I know, OUCH) The first failed attempt to remove the old pad showed the pad part is just glued to the base plate. This would indicate the less expensive generic replacements that just have an adhesive backing should work if you leave the base plate on and just peel the original pad off. I am saving my original base plates in case I decide to buy the generic pads next time. I haven't used the gel pads yet so I will update on performance after I have used them. 3M told me they aren't necessarily more durable than the original foam pads but said most people find them more comfortable. Time will tell. Ear pad and headband padding is about the only short coming to the hearing protectors. My original set with FM had both pads and the head band degrade within 2 years and these blue tooth pads went in a year and a half. 3M should work on better materials or just give you a spare set of both with the units.

These gel protectors are so much more comfortable than the standard, especially while wearing glasses.

Perfect fit on my old sport tactical 500. Feels better than the originals.

En même temps que l'achat du casque 3M WorkTunes Connect (90543), pour améliorer le confort du port de casque, j'ai acheté ces coussins en gel de qualité supérieure et le confort s'en est trouvé réellement amélioré, beaucoup moins chaud à porter que le casque avec les coussins en mousse d'origine !
