Shampoo Two, Clarifying Shampoo, Deep Cleanses + Removes Buildup, For All Hair Types, Especially Oily Hair

This is a pretty solid shampoo. My scalp is prone to buildup and every few days I’ll throw this in rotation to clarify my scalp. Leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean.

I wanted a shampoo that would wash out any product in my hair. This shampoo smells amazing and works so well. No irritation as I have dry skin/scalp. Rinses so clean. Good stuff!

The reason why I put for curly hair is because you usually have to put a lot of products (leave in, curling crème, gel, oil) to maintain curly hair and sometimes you have to refresh once or multiple times with more products before wash day which cause an extreme amount of build up. Build up for curly hair is terrible because it extends drying time, weights your curls down, makes your hair brittle and worst of all causes curls to lose form. My hair was becoming difficult to maintain and my curls had lost their shape so I tried another brand of clarifying shampoo which did wonders for my scalp but left my ends extremely dry so I forced to use copious amount of product to soften my ends which is redundant to my objective. I had used Paul Mitchell detangler before and loved it so why I saw this shampoo pop up I decided to purchase it. It was the best decision I have made. It lathered on good, I was expecting for it to dry my hair a little but my hair was soft and shiny when I finished. I have very thick curly 4b hair and honestly could have brushed my hair without a conditioner if I wanted to(it usually takes me 30 min after conditioning sometimes). My hair was very clean and weightless. My curls were back to their natural form and my drying time was a lot shorter since the build up with washed out. I’m in love with this product and I honestly think I found the shampoo I’m gonna use till the day I die. I’ve never felt more strongly about a shampoo before. I don’t remember if Paul Mitchell products are sealed but this item I received wasn’t sealed and there was some spill but thankful the product it’s self was packaged in a plastic bag which contained the spill so that I was abel to use what had been collected in the plastic bag. I thought about exchanging it but decided against it since the product is pretty much full.

I opted for this based upon another review from a Black woman with locs who said in her review this clarifying shampoo got her locs right. Considering my hair is a similar texture I thought this would be a reasonable purchase. It is a reasonable purchase and it does work as intended, it's personally not as effective as I'd like for my hair. I have high density, low porosity 4b hair. I cycle between every 7 to 14 days between washes. Because of the length of time between washes, I find that this shampoo I needed to do more washes with. Ultimately I had to do 4 washes to completely remove all the sebum from my scalp. Typically I need no more than two maybe 3 to achieve the same result. This is with Giovanni Triple Threat Tea Tree shampoo which is also a clarifying one. My family, textures 3b to 4c, none of whole has low porosity hair, this worked well for. They too have high density curls that is high volume. This shampoo cut everything in 1 to 2 washes. While I want to say I'd keep this in rotation, the ingredient list is more chemical than natural. It does give quality results but with a more synthetic ingredient list. Gio's products is more natural and also delivers results. Because this is a clarifying shampoo it will leave your hair dry and stripped. Follow up with your favorite moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. It does work, it is on the thinner side so you have to be careful to not waste product. For what this cost, over use is not recommended. Would I repurchase? Maybe, it is available to me locally. Gio's is sadly not. I'd more than likely grab this when I'm not able to get Gio's products to me in time. It's a good buy just for my low porosity hair it's not as effective as I'd like leading to far more washes than I want to do.

Great clarifying shampoo that seriously makes your hair feel so silky! The bottle is HUGE. It will last quite a while, because I only use it 1-2 times weekly. Ohh! It smells wonderful too🫶🏻

Works well for my oily, fine hair. My hair and scalp feel truly clean after using it, which I really appreciate.
