Traditional Crunch Mix

Love the chocolate banana flavor.Yes, there is a slight after taste but it didn’t detour me. Perfect snack if you are watching your calorie & fat intake. High in fiber and Protein. Will order again.

I was really looking forward to trying Catalina crunch. I purchased chocolate flavor. No one in our family was impressed because of the very strong taste of sweetener.

Love the flavor and the crunch. Sometimes the flavor and crunch lead me noshing the whole pouch. That's when I know it's too expensive (about $10). Portion size is small so if you double, you really only get 3 large bowls of "cereal" out of a pouch then with a cup or two of alternative milk you are at about $4.00. That's the cost equivalent of 6 eggs ($1.40) and half a package of bacon on sale ($2.00). Cost-wise for a keto breakfast, it doesn't do so great. The pea protein seems to disagree with my digestion at that quantity. The flavor is also muted when put to a milk. A single portion is a great amount to top a full pint of keto/low carb ice cream!

Honestly probably the worst “keto” thing I’ve tasted. Had horrible texture (rock hard even after soaking with almond milk), the flavor was terrible, it had the worst *diet* after taste to it, like sickly sweet with a hint of vomit. I literally went to brush my teeth after spitting out the first bite. I bought three different flavors and the first I tried was the chocolate banana, I can’t even get myself to try the other 2 because this one made me so nauseated. Don’t waste your money.

This cereal tastes great, keeps its crunch n milk, and is low carb. The reason for only 3 stars for me is because there is something in this particular flavor (unlike othe varieties from this company) that irritates my tongue and gave me acid reflux issues a couple of hours after eating. This is the ONLY thing I ate and after taking an acid reducer the heartburn went away but my tongue still hurts. I have burning mouth syndrome so have to be careful what I eat. If you don’t have any worries about acid reflux etc., then you will love this cereal. I have no similar problem with the other flavors I have tried from this company but won’t be buying the chocolate banana again.

I want to first say taste of course is subjective. In addition, I am on a fairly strict low carb, low salt, low sugar diet that I plan to remain on for the rest of my life as sugar is not my friend. Having said that, when I first ventured into this world of little sugar/little to no salt/super low carb/high protein — the first week many foods tasted horrible to me that were pre-packaged in the “keto” realm. Then after my palate changed, that same packaged food tasted delicious a few weeks later. Perhaps that is the problem with those who have tried this cereal. I think the taste and texture are very good and I fully expected this terrible after taste but found there is zero for me. 🤷‍♂️ No after taste bitter or otherwise. So while it’s not the most amazing cereal I have ever eaten, I added a few almonds and cashews, poured almond milk over it and have been enjoying this cereal for breakfast and will be buying more.

The flavor was okay for about the first half bite after which there was this horrible off chemically taste. I couldn't even finish a bowl. At $7 for roughly 3 1/2 cups of cereal, my expectations were a little higher.

I am so obsessed with the dark chocolate and banana chocolate crunch cereal from this brand! It is absolutely DELICIOUS and I love the ingredients (no sugar alcohols, yayy)! The only problem is I can easily eat an entire bag in a day and this is a bit expensive, lol.
