Reading through the description, I think it is just a difference in the packaging that the stapler comes in. The blister pack is plastic package, the cardboard is a paper/recycleable packaging of the stapler. There is NO difference in product, as far as I can tell. I would generally recommend thes estaplers- after working in a busy setting, where multiple people are using the staplers, the cheap ones are constantly broken. This Leitz, like all German products, is very robust and will last a very long time, o matter how many people use it. **Q: The "ice blue" model looks distinctly green. Is it? I like green.** A: The colour of the stapler is similar to an aqua blue so it does have a hint of green. **Q: How do you open the stapler? Mine won't budge! There are no instructions in or on the box either and none on Amazon where it's listed.** A: Place the stapler on a hard surface. Hold it steady with one hand and with the other hand lift the stapler top portion marks LEITZ. **Q: Can anyone tell me is the stapler supposed to "spring" back after you have used it ? Mine does not seem to open very far.
