how do I remove the iPad from the case without damaging the case? it is very tight is there a trick?

Carefully but firmly work around the edges. I have found this to be annoying already as I feel like I may drop my iPad or break the plastic of the case. Finding flaws on the first use :(

Are the backlights on the keyboard rainbow or you can pick one color?

Different colors of the Rainbow on different parts of keypad to choose from or solid light turquoise color.

How do you change backlight

After you turn it on, backlights is just single color. You can press "fn" + Q or "fn" + lamb key on the right side of the space bar to open the rainbow color. If you want to change different rainbow colors, you can press "fn"+RGB to change different rainbow colors.

Is there an indicator that lets you know how much battery you have remaining?

Due to my info there is no indicator to know the level of battery, only when you see blanking red light that mean the battery needs to recharge,
