Good deep dish pizza
Kind of expensive (what isn't these days), but delicious. Delivered quickly from Genos in large styrofoam container that kept the pizzas frozen.

Pizza Lover - Not so much anymore
We ordered directly from Gino's the first time around and the pizza's were amazing! When I found these on amazon we ordered them and the quality was horrible. Does not taste the same, pepperoni is bunched up in the middle. Most of the crusts were cracked and broken. Very disappointing. Threw them out they were not very edible.

Quality IS there, but pricing isn't fully worth it.
I actually love Gino's East. Back when I lived in Northern Indiana, I would always make it a weekend for myself to go to Meijer's or Walmart to buy a box or two of their pizza so I could have a good dinner if places like Beggars Pizza or Giordano's was out of the question. However... at least from ordering directly off of Amazon, i've had issues. Maybe it was just with my shipment, but when receiving it, all the ice had melted and all the boxes were soaked while half of the pizzas were almost fully thawed out. I mean, it still tasted the way I remembered, minus a couple of them, but the packaging had issues. The quality was great though! I can't say I fully agree with spending over $100 for pizza's, but if you're looking for a taste of what I considered my home, then this is it. The thickness of the crust is reasonable, and there's tons of cheese. Sauce is also very plentiful and flavorful so all in all I believe there's surprising quality in these pizza's. It's just the value for money doesn't fully match up with what northerners are used to. You spend over $100 on here (or the Gold Belly website), meanwhile it only costs around $5-$8 dollars a box in the grocery stores.

I Like Gino'sEast DeepDish/StuffedCheese BOX Pizza ButTheyAlso Have It Frozen At Jewel Much Cheaper!
Our Review Of Gino’s East (Chicago-ish Style) Deep Dish Cheese Pizza In Short: A friend of mine ordered the 5-pack from Amazon, and overall I will say that if you must try a stuffed pizza, for the first time, it’s best to try it fresh from the restaurant before trying the boxed or frozen pizzas they now have online and at the grocer. Traditionally, Stuffed/Deep Dish Pizza crusts are made thick, biscuit-Dough Style and are either Flour or a Corn-hybrid Crust. Although the ingredients said wheat-flour, Gino’s East crust texture is not unlike what I have seen in some corn-flour crusts.. But it may be the oils in the base. There is always room for improvement, but overall the flavor was not bad, although I do think that there could have still been more cheese on the pie. But, it served it’s purpose. I have been a fan of Chicago Style Stuffed pizza for some time and like the idea of the ease of online ordering, but nothing beats the quality of a freshly made pizza versus a box-frozen pizza anyday. And the price on Amazon is much higher than at the grocer for the same type of product. If you are going to spend that kind of money, order Catered Pizza, but made fresh same day. And if you are going to get a box pizza, then get it from your local grocer (in Chicago Jewel or Mariano’s has Gino’s East Chicago Style DeepDish and they used to have Leona’s Chicago Style also) but the grocer will have it a much lower price-point than what you see on Amazon. Right now a decent A fresh baked medium Stuffed Cheese Pizza Is STILL Under $50 and typically around $25. For what you are getting, Amazon is overcharging. Overall, the pizza was not bad and/but for under $10bucks, I’d try it again (from the grocer). Grade: A Solid C; or 3.25Stars!
