As indicated I did a test at home and it was waterproof. I was not afraid to use it in my kayak yesterday for my iPhone. The plastic is at least as thick as any other flexible case I've had. And the clear back section permits very good pictures. I took a picture both with the case on and without it on and there is very little difference. The touch screen works perfectly and I had no problem using my Navionics charting program on my kayak. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Let moisture in after an hour of heavy splashing *by A***T on Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2015* I used this once at a water park.
