No Saw Should Be Expected to Cut a Fitted Miter
You don’t try to fit sawn mitered ends together and expect accuracy. That’s not how you do it. The saw is only for dimensioning, i.e., getting close. You refine the sawn end with a shooting plane and shooting board. You can even change the angle by a fraction of a degree if necessary by shimming the fence of your shooting board with tape or business cards. Buy a shooting plane and make a shooting board. I don’t care how much you spent on your miter saw, you have to finish the joint with a tool designed to do that and saws are not designed to make a finished joint.

Excellent tool.
Bit pricey but don’t confuse this with it’s cheaper cousins. Quality tool. Well made and accurate. Easy to use, but box needs to be clamped or bolted to work surface. Easy saw glide action after some light oiling. Wide selection of TPI blades available, including Japanese. Assembly instructions a little weak. Diagrams are limited, partially the clamp detail. Onboard clamps work well but are not easy to use and reset. For a serious hobbyist this is perfect. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

Do Not Buy Nobex Miter Box from Lee Valley
I'm not sure about this miter box, but I bought a Nobex Miter Box from Lee Valley. It is made of cheap metal and very important screws strip out the metal at critical points rendering the Nobex Miter Box useless. Also, the clamps intended to hold the wood down do not work. I can't return it since I discarded the box it came in. Be ware of overpriced items sold by Lee Valley. Sign me Disappointed and Disgusted with the Nobex Miter Box and Lee Valley.

Glad I bought it
For awhile I had the smaller version of this saw. Worked just fine but I needed more of an angle than it would produce. Saw that this model had an ever wider angle so sold the smaller and bought the larger. They do an extremely accurate job of cutting. I'm very happy with it though I don't use it that often (moulding and small pieces that I just don't dare try and cut on my 12" DeWalt compound miter saw.
