3M 10112 Heavy Duty Stripping Pads

The pads work very well to remove paint from metal pipe. Very durable.

They work as good as any other pad they work real good after start but like the rest of them They go downhill fast that would be fine for smaller projects they would be fine for strollers pro they go downhill fast that would be fine for smaller projects

Looking at the photos I thought these were one thick pad per pack, but there are two thinner pads instead. They will do the job OK (stripping paint with aircraft stripper). Had some of the thicker coarse pads but can't find them anywhere these days.

All pads wear out but some pads faster than others when put in water. When they soften up they are less aggressive and do not do the job intended. Some pads are more aggressive than required. This pad I picked is a very good pad for the all around purpose of the jobs I use it for. This Pad is like a Medium aggressive pad which means not too stiff and not too soft.

the good: used with stripper, these pads remove old finish the bad: the pad clogs quickly rendering it useless the ugly: unless you use thinner to clean the pad it is a one-use item and actually strips very little

I used it to sand a metal product. They worked great!

Used these to help get cosmoline off some wood stocks and get some other crap and dirt out. They worked well and would buy more for the same purpose.
