In his first book, Peptide Protocols, Volume One , Dr. William A. Seeds introduces the cellular medicine behind peptides to improve patient health. As the foremost authority on why and how to use peptides to delay cellular senescence, reduce inflammation throughout the body and the brain, and address the underlying mechanisms of aging, Dr. Seeds offers physicians and healthcare providers a foundational understanding of the brain and body through the lens of cellular functioning and how peptides can create better outcomes for all of their patients. Supported by extensive peer review studies, Peptide Protocols offers insight and practical knowledge on how to support patients before, during, and after treatment. This ground-breaking cellular medicine approach to disease treatment and prevention will change lives. Review: Peptide primer - Good explanation of peptide structure, function and benefits. Short overview of useful peptides with guidelines on how to take them and when. Review: Written for doctors yet kept simple enough for those interested in self education. - I felt Dr. Seeds did a wonderful job sharing his knowledge for how the cell works, how the peptides work in the body, and then, most importantly, sharing information on how specific peptides work as well as grouping the peptides together by function. Obviously there was a true interest in sharing this knowledge, rather than just putting down information in a book. Dr. Seeds is extremely busy, and that he took the time and the time of his staff, to put together this very readable, detailed yet understandable book, and was able to explain medical functions of peptides in the body, as well information on dosage guidelines, since peptides are so new, having this information is clearly a need to help both guide and empower both doctors and patients. It is good to learn what is out there in the medical field in order to broaden our choices and peptides are a progression between holistic concepts of letting the body heal itself through nutritional food and clean living, the peptides are the next step, as peptides (in general) trigger the different internal mechanisms that are designed biologically to help the body function well and heal vs. medication that is designed to force a specific result. They all have their uses - peptides being relatively new and having strong safety profiles - are worth being aware of and learning about.

Simple but vague
If you’re non medical and like simplistic, this book is for you. I am in the medical field so I was less than impressed with the lack of in-depth information.

Outstanding
My only criticism is that I wish this book was longer. Full of biochemical information and covers the most popular peptides with doses indications and mechanisms of action

Peptides starter point
Great info to get some basics about a range of peptides. There is a lot of higher end medical speak in it.

Best peptide book out there. Period.
Dr. Seeds offers one of the best resources for understanding cellular pathways and how individual peptides fit into them. This is Volume 1, so it’s likely he’ll expand the series further. While there are many fake gurus in the peptide space, like Jay Campbell and Hunter William, the lack of proper double-blind testing makes Dr. Seeds stand out as an authority in presenting this information. The book is concise, informative, and well worth reading—just be sure to brush up on your high school biology to get the most out of it. You will get more out of this read than just using AI, which I can't say for most books in this space.
