Only wish it was cheaper though since I'm just renting it from desertcart but I understand writing a good textbook is tough. Excellent textbook. Hibbeler never seems to disappoint. I have used both his statics and dynamics textbook and including this one all three books are well written. Information is easy to digest, and examples are very helpful and easy to follow. Just need to study more since the problems is where things get tough and requires a real good understanding just to solve. Other than that this book is terrific! Only wish it was cheaper though since I'm just renting it from Amazon but I understand writing a good textbook is tough.

Excellent book for engineers!
If youre taking mechanics of materials (solid mechanics, other names for this class) this is an amazing book to learn. The explanations the author gives are beyond exceptional and lots of examples and problems to practice on. Highly recommend this book to all future engineering students! Hibbeler books are the best!

No digital code
Bought hardcover brand new, book was wrapped in plastic but no digital code to be found. Otherwise everything was good but now have to buy code separate to use mastering. This felt a bit misleading but it never states that it includes access, just that the book can be used with it.

Very Helpful
I hate having to buy textbooks but I'm so glad I did this time! When your professor cant teach, this book has step by step examples to teach you the subject matter. I mostly ignored the theory behind it and tried to solve the examples (before checking the answer) to learn how it's done. Fantastic buy!
