Works well. My 25 year old tool died. It felt like a professional tool. This one is cheap plastic which may melt with prolonged continuous use. This is not for children as it can get uncomfortably hot. Those who say the stones fall off simply aren't using quality stones. I like the on/off switch. It's comfortable in my hand but the flared bottom is crazy. There's also something rattling in the flared end. I read reviews and product descriptions before purchasing and have seen some unhelpful reviews. Use the product before reviewing.

This hotfix applicator does get the job done — it heats up and sets rhinestones pretty well once you get the hang of it. My biggest drawbacks are that the cord is really short, which makes it awkward to position and work for longer projects, and it takes a little patience to use comfortably. For quick crafts it’s fine, but for bigger projects I wish it had more reach and was easier to handle.
