I've never had to wash it but I'm sure you can hand wash in the sink and hang dry. I wouldn't put it in the washing machine. I love it, keeps the remote controls off of my tables and looks cute too.

Would it work on an ikea chair with wooden armrests?

I m not really sure but I can describe it. It does have a long part that has like a small cylinder in the bottom. This is so it will go under the caution and stay on the arm rest. However. With my couch it still isnt long enough and doesn’t work correctly. So I just have it on the back side of my couch behind those cushions.

Does this work on a lather chair?

I believe that question in in my previous statement. I would not recommend this product due to the fact it does stay in place and when it slides and touches the floor. My leather and cloth fabric furniture constantly slides off and touches the floor. Please see the picture of it touching the floor. Also, when you place items such as a remote control, the pouch opens up and the items fall out onto the floor. I would not recommend this product.

Did you get one tube that covered half of the length? I haven't purchased this type of product before so I didn't know it came with a short tube.

One tube, it is not very long. I like the look of it but the tube slides from one end to the other. The tube doesn’t stay put. Also, the pouches open up and \my remote control, glasses, and the cel fall out onto the floor. I would not recommend this product. It was a waste of my money.
