Very complete book
This book offers a variety of information. The lectures are very straight to the point and a lot of colorful pictures and graphics. It is very easy to read and understand.

Book review
The book is a good book. However, the tests that the authors provide are horrible!!!! There is no way to study for the tests just by reading the chapters. They come up with questions that are not direct but that you have to try to put 2 and 2 together to get. What is up with that?! You need to have the answers come 100% out of the book. Every question that you ask on a test should have 100% of the answer in the book. The book is great, however, for the Learn Smart portion of the questions.

Honestly, biology was not a course that I desired. However, this textbook make it a lot less boring because of the pictures and colors. And also with my Professor's help I got a B in the course. It was hard because I just don't like it.

Who in their right mind thought this was ideal?
This book is all over the place and doesn't keep a tempo or my interest. Bio isn't the most interesting topic, but it can be presented better than this. It makes studying from the book very hard. It doesn't have a keyword index or anything.

as a second hand book it looks fairly new, paying only $33 bucks and getting it less than three days was beyond my expectations. Now that i'm done with my biology class I can easily sell my book twice the amount I bought it.
