A: Should fit. It’s the same pump for all the 1.8 engines

**Q: Will the OE thermostat fit into this assembly?**
A: Don’t waste your money and time on that product, poor quality, the oem thermostat and sendor will fit the problem is the pump don’t fit and align with the dowel pin in the engine block also the surface plate is not good resurface after installed when make the vacuum bleeding car leaking, i had to remove again all oem gaskets was ok, installed again start leaking in the sensor, removed findin the pump was cracked, i finished installed a oem water pump no problem at the moment

Well, it took a while to get that water pumping it was a little difficult, but everything felt right in place and the car is not working very good

This water pump is exactly the same as the original pump on my 2011 VW Tiguan. Every component was there. In the future I would have appreciated if you could add instructions explaining where each o-ring goes, it would have made it easier for me to know where to put them, instead of having to figure it out. Overall solid product and it fixed my issue. Now let's see how long it will last. Will update my comment if something happens.
