Women's Original Trucker Jacket (Also Available in Plus)

The jacket is wonderful! And fits very well no need to downsize or upsize. Great value for the money. I would like to say I agree with the other’s who stated the little Levi tag does not include the Levi logo. Other than that, it’s a great jacket well worth purchasing.

Loved this jacket. I say loved because I’ve lost it. It’s super warm and made so well. Not a light weight jacket. I am going to buy my second one now.

Lately I have been wanting a lighter-colored jean jacket to have in my closet. I am an avid Levi's fan and only wear their jeans or Universal Thread from Target, so I was really excited to try my first jean jacket from there! I was a little hesitant when ordering this because I read a lot of the reviews that said sizing was an issue. However, when my jacket came in the mail it fit like a glove! I am 5'8" 155lbs with broad shoulders and ordered a size Large, and it was not tight at ALL. I was afraid that my arms would be super squished, but to my surprise the fabric actually stretched quite a bit! And when I crossed my arms in front to see how tight the back was, it stretched great as well. Looking back I maybe could've gotten away with a size Medium, but I'm glad that I stuck with the Large because it will most likely shrink a little and I want to be able to wear t-shirts and whatnot under it. This is also one of those jean jackets that has a nicer look to it and isn't as baggy as some others can be. It depends on the type of look you're going for, but I know that I could wear this with a dress in a corporate office and it would still be professional! Hope this helps whoever is on the fence about getting it :) I would definitely order again and am so happy to add it to my wardrobe!!

I ordered three different types of Levi’s trucker jackets all in size Large (recommended size) for a side by side comparison. Please note that the 3 trucker jackets DO NOT COME WITH A HOODIE. I was simply making sure I could layer a hoodie underneath the denim jackets as this is how I like to wear them. All 3 Large sized jackets passed my hoodie test and Large felt like an accurate size recommendation to the style of each jacket. The sleeve length was long and perfect for me. If you’re looking for a more “form fitting” jacket, order the original trucker in your normal size (it does have stretch if you’re between sizes), order the Ex-Boyfriend a size smaller (no stretch.. watch out for arm length though), and skip the Baggy trucker altogether or try ordering it two sizes smaller (no stretch.. watch out for arm length changes ordering small sizes). My measurements: Height 5’8” - Weight 155lbs - Shoulder to Shoulder 17" - Bust 38" - Waist 28” - Hips 40". All of the Levi’s denim trucker jackets have inside “pockets” which is a feature I have always loved from Levi’s denim jackets. If you notice from the photos, each jacket is about 2” longer than the next. The Original trucker jacket being the shortest length and darkest wash; pictured in the first photo, all the way to the left (top & bottom) of the second photo and all the way to the right in the third photo. It is meant to be roomy but more form fitting, while the other two styles are meant to be baggy. I was still able to layer the Original trucker over my hoodie comfortably in my recommended size. While the Original trucker fit nicely and probably would look best over dresses out of the 3, I chose the Ex-Boyfriend because I already own a form fitting denim jacket and wanted something different. I liked the Original trucker the least because it was so dark, had all black buttons, and looked too new and clean. This sounds weird, but all my black jeans are all faded, so I preferred the faded washes on the other two black trucker jackets. The Baggy Trucker and Ex-Boyfriend trucker also have no stretch and have contrasting brownish brass buttons which felt more vintage. Notice the Ex-Boyfriend jacket has buttons on the right “men’s side” while both the Original Trucker and Baggy Trucker have buttons on the left “women’s side”. I hope my review helps you decide!

Perfect fit

This is a well made jacket and true to size. I always wear medium and I got a medium. I’m 5’5” , broad shouldered and 36D and there is comfortable room there buttoned up and the sleeves are the right length. As another reviewer stated, the color is not as light as in the photos but it’s a nice “lighter” denim blue.

I bought the Levi’s denim jacket in both size large and ex. Large just so I could compare sizes. I really liked the quality of the denim, the feel of it and very little stretch. I’m a size 12 and the ex. Large was a better fit for me. I’m 5 ft 6 and weigh 155 pounds, I’m not large busted or heavy in the hip area just pretty much have a straight figure. That being said, both of these jackets are rather cropped fitting on me and I have a short torso. They barely hit the top of my hip bone, which was a disappointment. I ended up sending them both back.

Just what I needed. Nice black denim jacket.
