I can't stand it when the rain interferes with my plans, and these rain ponchos save the day. I just slip one one and head outside. The elastic around the wrists and head help keep my body warm, and if it happens to be summer (which it sadly isn't here in Michigan right now), the plastic keeps the mosquitos from eating me alive.Best of all, if I make a real mess of the poncho or I'm just too lazy to dry it and fold it back up, no guilt because they're so inexpensive. However, they were useful during a rainy week in Disney World. They were compact so I could fit all 5 in my purse. They also covered us with longer sleeves to protect from rain. They could technically be saved, but we couldn’t fold them back neatly and most got holes easily when taking off or putting back on . So I would not say they are reusable, although you could reuse them again if you had to. They came in handy in Disney.
