Permatex 81630 Ultra Red High Temperature Gasket Maker, 3 oz

Needed a quality product to seal a pass-through thermocouple in my electric smoker. Works perfectly.

I used the Permatex Ultra Red 81630 on a high-heat automotive application, and it performed exactly as expected. It spreads easily, creates a strong, flexible seal, and handles high temperatures without cracking or shrinking. The curing process was straightforward, and once fully cured, it provided a leak-free seal. It's perfect for exhaust manifolds, headers, turbo components, and other high-temperature areas. The 3 oz tube is easy to use and provides enough material for several repairs. I would definitely buy it again for future automotive projects.

My son used this to seal parts for antique tractors where a gasket was difficult to find! It worked very well!

Great product

Trust this tube if your shop runs hot. I grabbed it for my espresso machine and a cranky space heater in the lobby. This stuff sticks, cures fast, and doesn’t stink up the front desk. I squeezed a thin bead, bolted things back together, and went right back to customers.

This was used along with a new gasket on a small engine crankcase. We waited beyond the 24 hour cure recommended time. This sealer worked great!
