I have found this to be the best sleep mask I have ever used by a very long way. This wasn't my first Manta sleep mask purchase. I had bought this in the past and was rather upset when it was lost- must have been eaten by the same creatures that eat my socks. It's not cheap, and I was hoping I could save a bit of money on trying out others that state 100% darkness. Some even came close, but still fell somewhat short. I even tried a clone - also purchased via Amazon - and it was vastly inferior. In the end, after a bit of a grumble and annoyance that I had wasted time and money on alternatives, I gave in and purchased this again. I should have just bought it again from the start... Seriously, this is excellent at blocking out light. The eye cups are soft and contour well around my eyes comfortably. They're deep enough that my eyelashes do not scrape against anything and I can open and move my eyes without pressure. The headstrap is also comfortable and rarely slips as I sleep. One thing to note is that it is bulky and may not be suitable for those that prefer to sleep on their front, though this is not a concern for me. Also, if you live with your partner, they may also make fun of how silly you look while wearing it - ignore them; the ridicule is worth it.

I've been a fan of this eye mask for a while now, so much so that this is my second pair. Unfortunately, it's not quite the same quality as the original. The material feels a bit thinner and less plush, and I've noticed a few loose threads here and there. That being said, it still does its job admirably. It blocks out light completely, the adjustable strap is comfortable, and it stays put throughout the night. I've been using it for a couple of weeks, improving my sleep quality. Overall, I'm a little disappointed that the quality seems to have dipped slightly, but it's still a good product, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an effective eye mask.

But it's also nearly double the price. So far I'd say it's worth it! You can tell someone actually sat down to make the best blackout sleep mask on the market. There are a few things I really like: - The eyecups appear to be truly memory foam and because they're bulbous there is actually enough "give" in foam to compress, reform and shape around your eye sockets perfectly, so there's no need for more flaps of material to blackout around your nose; they simply block your eye socket completely. They're plenty large enough for my eyelashes and reposition-able too! - The strap is mostly non-stretch material, and only part elastic, this is great, it means they have minimal stretch after they've been sized to fit. There is plenty of stretch; let's just say that the designers understood that longer pieces of elastic stretch further than short pieces. The ideal tightness to avoid it coming off during sleep shouldn't be a function of how big your head is; it should just be the ideal tightness for comfort. - They have a very small form factor; the strap is fairly narrow but more than adequate and the main part that touches you face are the eyecups; other masks I've used feel like face-huggers and get too hot to wear for any length of time without getting clammy. - The velcro is great; no nasty hooks to get your hair caught in or irritate your skin. - Finally, I could put them on straight out the box without wondering whether the chemical smell is only mildly toxic or really something not to be placed anywhere near the face or breathing intake! It smelt pleasantly, of nothing!

The mask is super comfortable and does block out light almost completely. My only issue with it is that if you're a stomach or side sleeper, like I am, the eye cups are so thick and goggle-like that it gets uncomfortable, and affects sleep. But, if you're a back sleeper, I'd say it's the ideal sleep mask. Very snug and soft.

I sleep on my side or stomach. So my face is sideways or one eye is pressed into the pillow. I bought these to try and prevent pressure on my eye when pressed into the pillow. And it does help with that. However, I have to adjust it a lot so that it's comfortable, and not pressing into my face uncomfortably. I tend to move around a lot, and the mask doesn't stay in place. I've loosened it, tightened it, it still moves. When I first got it, I was able to easily open my eyelids while wearing the mask. The sides seem to have compressed a little bit, because now my eyelashes touch the mask when opening my eyelids. But the compression has made it slightly better to sleep with. Pros of the mask. The back strap is nice and soft. The velcro is well covered, so my hair doesn't get caught up in it. With the edges, I can open my eyes, which is a huge plus for me. The eye "patches" can be moved, so they can be adjusted according to individual faces. Almost all the light is cut off. There may be some trickle coming in, but it's usually covered with some adjustments. Overall, it may not be the best for side/stomach sleepers. But if you want something to avoid pressure to your eyeballs, then this is good.

I nearly didn’t buy this mask due to some of the bad reviews as I am a side sleeper, however this is a soft and a durable mask that moulds to your face. This is the most comfortable eye mask I have tried by far. The eye cups remove the pressure on your eyes and it has given me the best night sleep. The design makes it so that it is completely blacks out all the light once adjusted. My kids don’t sleep with out the hallway light on and have to have my door open so this mask is perfect as blocks out all the light giving me a perfect sleep. A must buy I can’t recommend more.

Love the concept how the eye mask has deeper area for eyelash extensions! But it’s very uncomfortable for back sleepers as the Velcro is annoying, they should of used a different method to adjust sizing
