Good product holds up it was worth the money

I gave the MYNT3D 3D Pen Mat Kit to my grandkids thinking it would be a “nice quiet activity.” HA. What I actually gifted was a miniature innovation lab. Within minutes they were tracing designs on the mat like pros, confidently announcing they were “building prototypes.” Prototypes of what? I’m still not sure. But apparently we now own several plastic glasses, a slightly lopsided Eiffel Tower, and something that might be a dog… or a spaceship. The DesignPad makes it easy because the patterns are right there to follow, and the FreePad lets them go wild with their own creations. It’s structured chaos, my favorite kind. Best part? • They’re focused. • They’re creating. • They’re not glued to a screen. Worst part? I was asked to try it. Let’s just say my “butterfly” looked more like a nervous bowtie. Overall, fantastic gift for grandkids if you want creativity, laughter, and the chance to proudly display slightly wobbly masterpieces on your fridge. Five stars from this officially promoted “Chief Craft Supervisor.”

Great for learning how to use a 3d pen. My daughter had a hard time without this at first. Highly suggest for first time users.

Highly recommend buying this the same time you buy a 3d pen. Gives good work surface and allowed my 9 year old grandson to hand draw things then print them. We found almost immediately you need something to print on. Aluminum foil also works in a pinch, but we preferred this. You can also put this over a color book air anything similar to copy them with the 3d pen. have granite countertops or I would have been “nervous” to not have something like this to work on.

It is so helpful that you don’t have the packages so nicely because on our camera it show them no flowing just nice setting and I tried it out and it was perfect and not broken

The MYNT3D - MP034-DF 3D Pen Mat Kit is a well-made and useful set, but the price point leaves much to be desired. At about €30, it feels steep for what you’re actually getting, and I personally think it should cost no more than slightly over half that. On the positive side, the quality is undeniable. The set includes three different drawing surfaces, with a double-sided silicone template and a FreePad piece for tracing and free drawing. The materials are durable, flexible, and comfortable to use. Finished designs come off easily thanks to the custom FreePad surface, and the variety of shapes and channels really does encourage creativity. Our child asked Santa for a 3D pen this past Christmas, and we paired it with this kit. They love it and it works very well for their projects at home. That said, while the company claims this toolset could work for everyone from beginners to professional designers, I personally think it’s best suited for hobbyists and home use. I can’t quite picture a professional relying on it, though perhaps some might. For kids and other 3D enthusiasts, it is a fun and practical tool. The bottom line: This is a solid product with good durability and design, but the current price is not justifiable in my view. If it were closer to €15–17, I’d happily repurchase. At €30, however, I can’t say I would buy it again.
