I love the retro look and the build quality is also very good. For me, this turntable ticks all of the boxes even though the operation is completely manual - not even auto return at the end of a record! It is an excellent turntable that plays records really well with the supplied cartridge. However, the supplied cartridge, though very good, doesn’t do this turntable justice. Hence l have bought an Audio Technica AT-VM740ML/Headshell for £279 (almost as much as the turntable itself). My goodness - it was worth it!
