Definitely read the instructions and stretch these before you try to put them on the handrails. I've had mine on for about a month now and elected not to glue them on because I will be putting them on to my definitive chair when I receive it. I have 24 inch wheels on this chair and after a month the rubber has stretched out. The grip rotates on the push rail and makes me adjust it constantly as I'm propelling. I have used the glue that was provided and put spots here in there and it has held them in place quite well. I will definitely use a full spread glue on my definitive chair that will have 26 inch wheels. I give this a four star rating only because I wish th rubber would be longer and cover more of the pushrail. I emailed the company and they were wonderful about getting back to me and having a conversation with me. I do understand their philosophy of breaking and leaving some of the pushrail exposed for breaking. I live in Wisconsin and those 10 below days were brutal going to get the mailbox. We have glued and glued and have finally resorted to duct tape to keep them from slipping. They also make the chair a fraction wider. People in chairs know that is just enough to keep you from somewhere you want to go. They have saved a lot of marks on the doors.
