The wooden boards are NOT wood. They're MDF with a wood laminate only on the top. The board edges are just exposed MDF.2. I received the shelf with 1 shelf that was loose and came off in transit with all the screws scattered in the box.3. The other shelf had 1 broken screw and others were not fitted properly. Seems like an old piece with weak screws.4. Had to buy bigger screws separately to mount the shelf to the wall.5. The box it came packaged in was torn in a lot of places. Bad quality packaging.6. The shelf was covered in sawdust.Overall, the shelf does the job and the metal frame seems sturdy enough. But it requires a bit of fixing up to be used.
