They do include a connector at the top of the bag to hanging it on your own chain or with the AP100 Hanging Kit. The reason we do this is that many people already have chains or a hanging method and do not need or want another hanging chain. Hope this helps, thanks- Jason **Q: How do i know when is fill up to its capacity?** A: I filled it till i noticed the reaching point and i am satisfied with it, you can probably tip it off but is extremely heavy, I have this bag hanging in garage/gym over a 4x4 across two 2x6 beams and seems to hold well, exept when i uppercut it, it vibrates the 2nd floor but overall i love it! **Q: What is correct mounting height? Center at eye level? Will it still swing if not using any chains? Ceiling is too low** A: I recommend having the widest circumference of the bag around nose height. I replaced my old Everlast with this bag and my workouts are awesome. I completed a workout and no one in the house heard a sound because of my setup below. My Everlast bag would be heard throughout the house especially in the kids rooms because they are over the garage. Now zero sound and no impact on support beams. ;-) Setup: - I reuse my existing hanging harness from my Everlast - Replaced chain with PerfectTech tie down straps - Added Aoneky 220lb heavy spring The only issue I had was the original plug that came in the bag arrived broken. Luckily it comes with a spare.
