I used the Study Guide (3rd Edition) as part of my preparation for my third attempt at the FE Electrical exam — and I’m happy to say that I passed! This book played a key role in helping me bridge the gap between understanding the concepts and actually applying them under exam conditions. What I appreciated most is how organized the content is. Each section focuses on relevant topics without overwhelming you with too much theory. What worked for me was solving every problem in the book (some of them twice). It gave me the practice I was missing in my previous attempts and helped reinforce weak areas. Whenever I got stuck, I used it alongside other resources (like the StudyForFE on-demand course), which made it even more effective. If you’re someone who’s already studied the concepts but need structured, targeted practice — this guide is a great investment. It’s designed to make you solve and think, which is exactly what the FE exam demands. Highly recommend for anyone serious about passing.

This book is very well structured and easy to understand. The explanations, practice problems, and overall flow helped me stay consistent and confident throughout my preparation. It was a key resource in helping me clear the exam on my first attempt. Highly recommended for anyone preparing seriously.

I think there was a decent amount of overlap with the FE exam. The FE tries to make the problems seem harder than they are. I’d purchase the practice exams as well.

My main recourse for the FE Electrical was exclusively this book. Anything I didn't know I would use YouTube, many of my engineering textbooks, a colleague of mine doing his PhD, and Zach Stone's FE site. But I grinded out all of these problems, and it really helped me learn a lot. I passed on the first attempt! It was so good in fact I am currently enrolled in his PE Power course!

I cannot recommend this book enough! I passed the exam this past Wednesday and couldn't have done it without this book. I initially took the exam back in May but failed because never opened this book since it was in storage and I was too lazy to grab it...BIG mistake! I studied this book along with Wasim's Live Training + On Demand course (also would recommend if you can spare the funds) and passed on the second attempt. The questions in this book still hold up to the latest exam spec and cover all subjects in great detail, I loved the structure of each section as the questions will start simple and gradually get more challenging. There's a reason why nearly everyone with a green check credits this book as it is guaranteed to get you that pass provided you put in the time and work through most if not all of the problems, I am living proof of that. I already have another book made by the same author. He reused a lot of questions from his other books. But at least he added some new concepts too. Pretty comprehensive, but you shouldn't just rely on this book to succeed in the FE exam. It's a supplement, so make sure you get other books with questions relevant to the new July 2020 format.

I found this book extremely helpful in preparing for the FE. If you just need extra problems to work this is a great resource. If you also need a review of all the topics I would highly recommend Wasim's online courses as well. I had been out of school for 6 years working in a different profession and was able to pass the FE first try using Wasim's studys materials. It streamlined my studying and helped me use my time more efficiently. I highly recommend all of his resources.

I was taking the FE exam approximately 12+ years after completing Engineering School, I needed a resource to recap and reinforce the knowledge items tested by NCEES on FE Electrical Exam. This resource helped me tremendously to recap and in many ways mirror the testing problems which appear on the exam. After about 1.5 to 2 months of sincere and focused effort solving all the problems twice I was able to pass the FE exam. I highly recommend this resource to an aspirant of the FE Electrical Exam.

Purchased this study guide as a supplement to Wasim's on-demand and live course bundle. I found it extremely helpful for reinforcing concepts that needed extra attention. While I primarily used it as a supplementary resource, it's comprehensive enough and could serve as a standalone study material for some students. The topics flow seamlessly, and the inclusion of diverse problems prepares you well for the exam. Highly recommend!

I studied for the FE Electrical and Computer with this book. I found it very organized and the content very helpful to practice the specifications for this exam, particularly after the changes applied after July 2020. Thanks to this study guide I passed the exam in the first try, even with more than 20 years of graduation. I have taken different courses, including courses of a master program and getting certification in the field though.

I bought this book couple weeks ago and I am finding it very useful so far because I need to practice after study each topic. The book was prepared as per the new exam specs, and contains a detailed solution to each question + some very useful tips at the end of the solution. I am still studying using it along with his online course.

Great book of practice questions, topic by topic, with answers and solutions. I used this in addition to Wasim's online course and all his practice exam books. A MUST buy for anyone taking the Electrical and Computer FE. The actual exam questions were more difficult/different but working these questions will sufficiently help you to be successful.

If in Canada - so so. It helps for some things but overall I dont think its really helpful or worth the money.
