Is the one ounce gradation the edge of the jigger, or is there a line? (I don't like pouring to the edge of the measure.)

It is on the edge but it has a 1 1/2 oz on the other end which might be what you might like to use. I like this jigger so much that I ordered another one. Hope this helps you.

I can’t really answer the question because my trick at the bar is to up-end the jigger on a double-folded paper napkin. That way the damp jigger never makes any direct contact with any surface. By the way, this is the best jigger I’ve ever used, and I’ve even given them as little gifts to friends.
