Does exactly what it's supposed to and easy to walk through. Great quality and price
So impressed with this product and fortunately it was pretty excellent fit for our door. Good quality and has enabled us to leave the doors open with no unwelcome insects at last. Dog mastered getting through it in minutes. Looks great. It's stuck in place well and the magnets are good at self closing it. Excellent value for money. When it's winter we will just remove the mesh but leave the velcro up for next year which looks like it's just part of our door frame. Nice and easy to remove. Would highly recommend if it's the right size for your door

REALLY FANTASTIC fly screen
This is a very good quality fly screen at a decent price. It is made from fibre glass and you can tell it's quality. It's not flimsy like the cheap nylon ones you can buy. This has a decent weight and stiffness to it. The magnets are sewn onto a chanel all the way down the entrance part. There are no gaps in the seal at all. The screen comes with a complete roll of heavy duty velcro and there is plenty to seal all the sides and the top. It does come with black tacks if you want to tack it on, but there is no way I will need those on my upvc frame, the velcro has given a really strong fix, it's not going anywhere. My door frame is about 4cm to narrow for the screen size I ordered so I had to make adjustments. I actually stuck the velcro straight to my frame even though the instructions say to stick them to the fly screen first. I found it very easy to do this and get the velcro on straight. I then offered the screen up to the upper central part of my frame where the screen opening is and then smoothed the whole upper length along the velcro. I then pressed down both the side velcros. This left me with a pleat of fabric on both outer edges of about 4cms which I expected. To remedy this I pressed dressmakers pins all the way down each side and into the velcro thus tightening the whole screen to fit the doors. At this stage I could have just left the pins and it would have been fine. But instead I took the screen down and stitched the side pleats down. (you can see this in my photo's) I also trimmed the length by 3cms and it was simple to do. I did however have to stitch two magnets back into the seam at the bottom which took 5 minutes and to be honest wasn't absolutely vital. Now I have a fully fitted blind which you can't even see! My husband couldn't believe that it was actually up because he couldn't see it! (see photo) The blind opens and closes easily with no gaps at all. I'm so pleased with this blind that I'm going to order another one to replace the cheap one on my back door. I don't think there is anything which could improve these screens apart from maybe if the company offered a made to measure service too, but I'm VERY HAPPY with mine thank you very much 😊👍

Magnetic Fly Screen.
Great product, just what I wanted. It does the job, plus stays closed due to the magnetic strip. Was good to have the fitting instructions & everything you need to do the job.

Superb insect screen for front or back door. 100% success.
This product was easy to install. It comes with self adhesive backing tape that sticks to the door frame with complimentary bobble tape (sorry I don’t know the official name for it) that fastens really well to this. The magnet fastening down the centre of the curtain work very well. It clicks shut immediately after someone passes through. It was around 4 inches long for my standard size double glazed door. The seller suggest under these circumstances that you roll it up at top but I found this difficult so I simply safety pinned a hem at the bottom. This still allows the magnets to fasten properly.. I can honestly say that I have not had any flying insects in the house since putting it up, apart from one crane fly let in by my large dog as he dawdled through the screen. (super accurate crane fly, I think it was just luck though.). This does depend of course on keeping your windows closed. I have stretchy net stuck over mine with masking tape round the frames so that I can still open and close them. I am allergic to wasp stings and get stung nearly every year, hence the special care. I had quite a few wasps in the house after the advent of colder weather last year and was not sure how they got in, but hopefully they just flew through the doors or windows when I wasn’t aware and this will stop them. I have had the screen up for around 3 weeks now and so far so good. My miniature poodle took a while to get used to it and now just dive bombs through it, so it might take a bit of patience and some tasty treats or being accompanied through on a lead to persuade some small dogs. Not sure about cats as I don’t have any.

Excellent quality, easy to fit, very effective
** updated ** The screen survived 3 years with small dog and cats, but Builders seem to think you have to pull it off the wall to get through and stood on it while trying to exit. Still highly recommended. ** Hint - remove the door keys or they will wear through the screen * I found this fly screen and it is EXCELLENT!! Last summer flies coming into the house were a real nuisance (because we wanted to leave the patio doors open.) Now out kitchen is free from flies and we can leave both patio doors wide open. The dog is still getting used to it, but he CAN get in and out when he wants to. The screen does not reduce the breeze and you can see through it perfectly. The magnets down the centre have perfect level of attraction to hold the screen shut, but easy for humans (& dogs) to push open to go in and out. They also remind you not to walk straight into the screen. * Pay attention to the measurements (I thought I'd probably bought a screen that would be a bit too big, but it's a perfect fit) The screen is 4cm wider than your door. The amazon listing tells you door size and sheet size. * It's quite easy to fit - I attached the top corners with 2 drawing pins (supplied), then pinned the the top middle and hung the whole screen. I then peeled off the backing tape and stuck the rest of the surrounding Velcro to the door frame (with the screen still attached, to make sure it fitted & was straight.) BTW: you have to press the drawing pins in by hand (they break if hit with a hammer (even if hit gently.) They come in a tiny box and you can easily scatter them over the floor if you're not careful opening. Apart from the three I used to fit the top, I haven't felt the need to use any of the other ones, but I'm not planning to remove the screen until autumn.

Great value, no flies and my cat can use it with a couple of temporary adjustments
Great value, easy to install, almost translucent, no flies can get in and I’m relieved my cat can use it. I installed it properly, then to encourage my cat to use it I stretched the bottom so that the magnets did not touch together at the bottom then stuck it on the outer edge of the Velcro to leave it slightly open at the bottom. Once my cat is used to it I will position it properly on the Velcro again. I’ve tied it back when my back door is shut so my cat can easily use the flap but I will probably remove those too when he’s used to it. I’m so pleased with these that I bought one for my conservatory and back door as we had a real problem with flies and wasps, but no more! My doors are not a standard size so I got ones that were the right width and trimmed off the bottom to let it flow freely in and out. I will sew the bottom edge back on to strengthen it and finish it off.

Quality has changed since 2023
Ordered one back in 2023 and that was a good 5 star screen The one I just got is no where near as good.
