Hanes Ultimate Men's 5-Pack Yarn Dye Exposed Waistband Boxer-(Colors May Vary)

Probably the best boxers I've ever worn. I've ordered this 5 pack multiple times now and they are great. The material is stiff but not too stiff. It's also not too soft like some boxer shorts. The material is not stretchy, which means it will last longer without rips or tears. I still have my first 5 pair of these boxers and they have not ripped or worn through after 2+ years. Excellent quality even if they are a bit pricey for boxers. You get what you pay for here and the quality is probably the best you will get in my opinion. Other boxers that I've owned get holes in the crotch within 6 months to 1 year. 2 years later and these still do not have holes and still have strong material build. The XL size fits me perfectly and I range from a size 38 to 40 men's waist. Extremely comfortable boxers. The only gripe I can think of for these boxers is that the fly does not button so you have to be careful of the ding ding showing itself (lol). Overall, these are the best I've owned and I will continue to buy these to refresh so long as they keep the quality the same.

My husband retired and i mentioned he might want to switch to boxers after wearing briefs the last 20 years. He loves these boxers from Hanes. He had stopped wearing boxers after his privates came out the fly and got caught in the zipper of his jeans. That was 20 years ago. The fly on these boxers is designed in a way that nothing "hangs out" when wearing them. There are no buttons on the fly either to cause any discomfort. These boxers are very comfortable he said, and i think they look great! He also likes the fact that there is not a tag on these boxers. He used to wear his briefs inside out so the tag wouldnt rub against his waist. I'm still not sure what the words "Yarn Dye Exposed Waistband Boxer" in the advertisement mean exactly but these boxers wash well, have a thin but good quality feel to them, with a good waistband and fit well.

These are great. They fit well. They are comfortable. They go on sale at a shockingly great price often. I've ordered 2 packs here and the wife also found one on an even better sale at a local B&M. No bad variations between the separate packs. I'll say, my only issues and why it loses a star, are the front flap and the tag. The tag is a minor issue, but it fades after a couple of washes and when I'm getting dressed half-awake, I can't tell the front from the back. The flap, while a much improved design, still is weak compared to a button. I prefer a button as if I answer the door to an unexpected guest, it keeps my shame hidden. This flap is OK, beats most others, but eh.

I'd never bought under garments online before. I tried online clothing purchases a couple times with jeans and unfortunately, decided that this was one area where online purchases didn't quite add up for me given that fit is so crucial. Well, it came time to replace some boxers...and I figured, really, how bad could this get screwed up? Well, turns out you can buy your boxers online. I think I speak for most guys in that we don't really care about an exact fit about these things...we only care that it doesn't cramp the precious cargo and that they don't hang down to our knees. We generally know our size, most boxers will fit well enough if you order the right size and it's generally an uneventful purchase that never ends up in a return. We continue to wear them until they develop holes or the elastic band fails. Other than that, we don't think about it and we don't want to think about it. I could go into all sorts of detail about how these will make you look good for your honey when you're down to your skiviez, just like the commercial or image on the product's plastic wrap. But that'd probably be a lie, since if you're the type to focus so much on looking good in your skiviez, you're probably not into your average Hanes mens wear either. What I can tell you is these work like any other kinds of boxers and maybe even reassure you that buying them online will probably work out as you expect, given you select the right size. I can maybe save you the agonizing effort of going to the mall to select these things and maybe spare you the completely illogical embarrassment that comes from checking out with your Hanes underwear by some dude (or worse yet, beautiful woman) behind the counter. Nothing further really. Just a decent set of boxers.

What I like about the Hanes Boxer shorts is that they are not restricting. Not hot in the summer like boxer briefs which are tight to the skin, where little air gets to the important areas. These shorts are very comfortable to wear. For what it is worth I highly recommend the Hanes boxer shorts.

These are the only boxers I wear & been using this exact brand/style for years. So I go to Kohls to buy this 5 pack & at the register they rang up $46! I'm not even kidding. No way would pay that. So I find the same style here on Amazon & at the reasonable price I expect to pay. As it states in the listing, the color & pattern will very. And there are MANY color/pattern variations. So I expected that. Wasn't too crazy about some of the patterns & colors I received, but I don't wear them for that. They are comfortable & they last - that's what I'm looking for. It's the way these fit & the way the waistband is. Just right! I've tried other brands & style but always come back to these. One thing I noticed when I received these... they felt very coarse & hard. It worried me at first, but after washing them they felt that perfect smooth cotton that Hanes & others are known for.

I wear 40 inch waist in jeans and TruSpec tactical shorts, and my years-old boxers from Hanes were XL like these. They lasted quite a while (having a dozen pairs helps with that) and fit rather well, so I figured they'd earned a little brand loyalty. These, on the other hand, fit a tad too snugly. They're not uncomfortable enough to send back, but the hem doesn't have the diameter the old ones did, and so they feel almost like there's a thin elastic in them shrinking them to my thighs. The waist is comfortable, the thighs not.

Most people know that already but in case you don't, they do not sit well under skinny pants. However, they are comfy with relaxed / loose fitting pants. Material is lightweight but not as cooling as I expected. Could use more cotton for material composition but would make it heavier I guess. These would be my go to shorts for lazing at home and loose fit pants days.
