Solid little stand for the price — does exactly what it says
Picked this up to use with my Blue Yeti and couldn't be happier with it for the money. The weighted base is heavier than I expected, which is a good thing — it doesn't slide or tip even when the boom arm is fully extended. The twist clutch locks down tight and holds position without creeping over time. The boom arm gives you a lot of flexibility for positioning, and the 5/8" to 3/8" adapter included in the box is a nice touch. Setup took maybe five minutes with no tools needed. My only minor gripe is that the height range on the vertical pole is a bit limited if you're sitting tall at a desk, but for standard seated use at a normal desk height it's perfectly fine. For the price point, this is hard to beat — I've seen flimsier stands sell for twice as much. Would recommend to anyone setting up a home studio, podcast rig, or even just for gaming/streaming. Sturdy, functional, and won't break the bank.

Solid and Tidy
Super solid. Easy to adjust. Weighted bottom. Extends far enough from my desk to put my dynamic mic right up to my mouth. Also works well for putting a mic in front of my acoustic. It also looks tidier and less gangly than those spring loaded arms that attached to your desk.

Well Made
I have been podcasting for almost 6 years and I was looking for a good strong and well made stand for our mics. When I installed and created my home studio it was so nice that these have a good size to add to a small table. They are a bit heavy actually for their size, but it's very good material that it won't break easily. It is also really easy to just put the mic on these to hold the mic. One of the smallest challenge I had was that it had a small loseness to it so when I wanted it to stay in place sometimes it would start shifting or moving lower and lower, but other than that it's such a good mic stand for the price!

Solid piece of kit
A value selection and holding no surprises from that standpoint, the Innogear mic stand is a solid choice for a tabletop unit. It offers a weighty base for good stability on flat surfaces (it’s non-adjustable for uneven surfaces) with a grippy, non-marring base pad. It’s probably too heavy for a regular travel kit, though the base does unscrew to pack down. It is adjustable via simple dials for height, reach, and boom angle, but the mic attachement point is fixed. A swivel attachement point would be posh, but this is good for basic desktop needs. Materials quality is decent, and should offer a decent service life on a home desktop. For example, the reach adjustment uses a simple threaded bolt to set position, but the boom runs through a plastic sleeve, so the set screw does not contact and scratch or foul the boom arm, which is a nice touch that elevates this beyond cheap, as does the fact all the hardware is black, including pivot bolts and set screw heads. The overall look is good; not stylish, not cheap, just rather basic. I’m using 2 of these for an occasional podcast setup holding Rode NT Mini USB mics, and they do the job. Recommended for basic needs.

Functionality is all there
Pros: - Heavy base, very capable of holding microphone with arm fully extended. - Strong hinge. I never experienced any give with the weight of my microphone, the AT2035. - Comfortable locks. Locking mechanisms are easy to tighten and loosen. - Height. Height is adequate for having the stand on a desk. - Feels like it will last -if treated well, of course. - Clean. It looks sleek. I like the turn lock, its minimal looking. - Comes with a microphone holder and screw adapter Cons: - U-clip Fragile. The smaller clip on the top axis broke with little effort. I received the product and I attempted to remove the clip with even force as to not pull it apart. It broke down the middle. I contacted customer service and told them that part broke and if they could send me a replacement part. They shipped me a new replace stand. The clip broke on that one too - on the first try. Perhaps its me, and I dont know how to remove clips. But I think I do, as I have had no problems with the bigger clip. I resorted to using a Velcro strap as visible in the photo. Its not a deal breaker to me as I could get a pack of these, but its a bit disappointing.

Happy so far
I'm happy with my purchase so far. I'm not able to mount a standard mic arm to my desk, so this stand is a great option for me. I use this stand with an sm57 micro mounted in an "eggbeater" mic isolation cage. I don't know how much the mic + cage weighs, but it's not enough to tip over the stand in 90% of situations. The base weights 5 pounds (I think) which is heavy enough to keep the stand upright with a mic while also not being overly heavy. The stand will tip over if you overload it on weight while also extending the arms all the way- no surprise there, so not an issue for me.

Non standard threads.
The base plate is nice and heavy 5 lbs is the advertised weight. Plus its asymmetrical shape (longer in front) is great for stabilizing. Although with the boom fully extended and a heavy mic, such as a Rode NT1 it's still a bit precarious. A slight bump will cause it to tip. The boom adjustment is friction, so again, with a heavy load on the end it will, over time, overcome whatever angle you had it set to. This product was not meant for heavy loads, despite its heavy base. My biggest issue if that threads for the boom to riser and for the mic holder to boom are non standard. An adapter is provided, but it's smaller and will not fit other standard products (like on stage) without the adapter. For my application, I found it best to use the onstage posi-lok mini mic boom with the supplied adapter. The onstage short boom has the standard size threads for the mic holder. With a standard Shure style mic I don't see any of this being an issue.

Able to meet our need
Really happy with the stand. The base is weighty and removes any tilting risk.
