No magnets needed. Very easy to fit. Gently ease the bracket between the vent and the facial. Suggest you do one side at a time first to ease the bracket in, this do both sides. It took me two minutes to fit the whole thing, but there is no rush take your time. It's very easy to install, but be patient to ensure that you don't crack the housing on the air cons! I found it helped fitting it into one side, then the other separately before trying to push it into both. Start high and work your way down. Once fitted, I find it best with the phone sideways so as not to obscure the main screen.It's nice and secure, but it's not 100% "tight"; the phone stays in position but I fear it may lose stiffness over time.
