I had ordered and returned two other brands because they didn’t fit my T8 LED upgrade fixtures. Both upgrades I have require the tombstones to be dropped in the precut square hole which I thought was standard but the other brands I bought looked right but either had additional material from the moulds that didn’t allow them to fit or had a solid flare at the bottom that wouldn’t go through my hole. These have a spring clip in that place and work like a charm. Takes one second to drop them in and loading power wires in are done as fast as you can push them in. They are priced about as good as any I have found and work well. These were the winner for me and I have purchased many times now.

After 25 years with seven 4-light fixtures, replacing ballasts and disposing of fluorescent tubes was becoming really tiresome. I bought a 20-pack of these bulbs, a pack of spare tombstones and was ready to roll. I started clipping out ballasts (2 per fixture) and direct wiring to each end of the sockets. With 4 bulbs, there are a lot of wires to connect, especially if fixtures are daisy-chained together. I wanted some consistency in wire color coding for future serviceability and some existing wires from ballasts didn’t reach the end where line power comes in. I suggest having spools of 18 gauge solid copper hookup wire on hand. I replaced old cracked tombstones and extended wiring from each to incoming power using long pigtails.and wire nuts. Plugged these bulbs in and they fit nicely and securely, played for a minute with color temperature and decided on 4000k, and Bob’s your uncle. They look great and provide as much light as the old 40 watt fluorescents. Will see how they last, something tells me that the images of melted bulbs in some reviews are due to miswiring or other problems.

I had several used light fixtures that I wanted to restore, upgrade to LED, then use for lighting in my garage. They were all different brands some held 4 tubes, but most only held 2. Some new some old. These T8 Lamp Holders worked on all the different styles. I mounted them with both the groves at the bottom and the push-through style, all 3 held up really well with enough flexibility to not break but rigid enough I'm not worried about the bulbs falling out. The ones I replaced were stiff and brittle, these were a great upgrade. These are not shunted, but it's easy to add a small wire between each side if you need them to be shunted.

I like how these have a slot in the middle so I can screw down to a board without a fixture. Used with 18w led tubes.

These have a very specific purpose. I weas converting some old T8 kitchen fixtures to direct LED bulbs. These did the trick. Made well and precise. Good investment.

I had to return these ,nothing wrong with the product ,were just the wrong fit for my fixtures.
