We’ve embarked on a lengthy home remodel, and want products for the refresh that are both attractive and priced affordably. We balked at purchasing LED lights at first (with the thought that if they burn out, now what) but after I saw these, I decided to give them a try. The cheapest one I’d found from a big box store was taller, more expensive, and I would have still had to spray paint it to get it black like I wanted, but I figure for the price, it wouldn’t hurt. These lights (with the help of a conversion kit) replaced an ugly can light in our downstairs powder room. It looks great. Low profile, sleek and VERY bright. I bought the two pack to put one in the bathroom and the other in the laundry room, but now I want to pick up another two pack to use elsewhere in the house. Installation was easy and fast. One note: I have mine connected on a (non-dimmer) decorative rocker switch, and there is an ever-so-slight delay when it is turned on. It doesn’t bother me, just thought it should be something to consider if that’s a dealbreaker for you. But for the price, these are wonderful.

I started out looking for a replacement for a stairwell light at my daughter's home that had and LED fixture that stopped working. After looking at lots of reviews and details, I opted to buy two of these. I had an older (1980s) fixture in the entry and our hallway that I wanted to replace, so I decided to start with my own lights. Super easy (some skills are required) to replace, and very happy with them. So, I ordered more to replace two more older fixtures downstairs and then at my daughter's home. I wanted the natural light along with brightness. I am very happy with those. My one note for other buyers is that they work a bit like spot lights. Where previous lights lit up the ceiling too, these shine down like spot lights. For most areas, like stairs, this is great because you are not looking into the bulb. However, is does reduce overall lighting a bit for larger areas.

I've purchased these lights multiple times for my home and home office. They light up my spaces with a beautiful ambient light - diffused evernly throughout the rooms due to the frosted cover. This is perfect for my work as a digital artist - industrial designer. The flush mounted light creates a shadowless glow that feels like the sun is shining in my room. Perfect when I need a fully lit space and unobtrustive when turned off when I'm using my workstations. I give the product 5 stars. I also give 5 stars to Taloya's customer service. When one of my lights stopped working I contacted them to inquire about the warranty time frame. Within 24 hours, my email was answered, warranty confirmed and a they ordered a replacement. That was June 14, 2022. 1 Day! I rec'd the replacement today June 16, 2022. 2 days. Superb service. What a pleasure dealing with Taloya. In summary: Outstanding product design and functionality, World class customer service. Buy these lights!!

I bought this 8.9 inch fixture after ordering and installing the larger 12 inch version a week ago. I was so impressed by the larger model that I wanted to try this one to replace a CFL fixture in a hallway. Each of the two installations posed their unique mounting problems due to the age (old) and size (small) of the junction boxes. However these fixtures are so light, small and flexible (in mounting options) that the installation went smoothly. I timed this one out and the installation time from start to finish was a mere 16 minutes. That included getting out the ladder, removing the old fixture, installing the new, and putting away the tools. Super easy and smooth. The only thing different with this smaller model is that it does not have the 3-position color temperature setting of its bigger brother. That was not a big deal for me since I used the middle (daylight) setting on the bigger one and that is the fixed setting on this one. Since there are still some CFL fixtures on the same circuit for this hallway, I can immediately see the difference between them and this fixture. While consuming less energy this fixture comes on faster, gives off more light, and is a more pleasant daylight color rather than the warm color of the CFL. It's interesting how I never really noticed the slight delay in power-on time for the CFL before. Now I flick the switch and this LED fixture lights up instantly while the CFL fixtures turn on a short period later. I didn't time it but it is probably less than a second but yet so noticeable compared to an instant on LED. I am very impressed by these Tayola fixtures and only wish all my fixtures were just like it. The only remaining factor will be the test of time. Since the LEDs themselves cannot be replaced (built into the fixture), they need to last a very long time. The hope is that they last at least 10 years before needing to replace the entire fixture. If any of them do fail, I will report back and update the review.

Light is way brighter than expected but in a good way. Extremely easy to install even for us non trades people. Light output color is white and I do mean white. Only issue I see is the entire room is now light up very well except for the ceiling. Due to the downward only direction of the light the ceiling now seems darker than before but everything below lit up extremely well.

These are extremely bright and a little better quality than I expected for the price. I changed the lights in my hallway and kitchen. It gave it a more modern look and they work fantastic.

Great project fixture upgrade... We bought this deal set for our last few fixtures in a mobile home and we updated to all of the flush mounts like these above. Easy to install. Two wires. Blk and white wire. White is Neutral Measurements show these lights are almost 12inches ..<<<< also no switch on light to choose from the cool or warm 😎 light,as some others do. It's one color and it's a good bright light. All in all for 6$ A fixture it's a great buy. WE EVEN BOUGHT AN EXTRA SET TO PUT UP. IM NOT SURE HOW LONG THESE FOXTURES EVEN LAST WE SHALL see. -Kate

We have now purchased 5 of these Moon fixtures which are super bright and modern looking. Easy to install. The first purchase of one Moon fixture has 5 adjustments for the amount of light; however, the package of 4 has no adjustments which is fine. I like a bright area whether in the bathroom, hall or mudroom. Would recommend these fixtures and the price is excellent.

They were delivered very quickly and once installed which was very easy, they give a lot of light in my kitchen.

Easy install looks good

The look is really nice when installed, it looks like a potlight. Seeing this in the hallway after the old semi-flush light, it makes it look taller and definitely brighter. I dont dislike the brightness, i'd describe it as having a window open.. others have said its sterile-looking. The light is definitely "daylight" bright, as advertised.. i put a mirror under it and it is the most unflattering lighting, but that could just be my aging face :) Con: no ground wire

These lights are very bright and very easy to install. If you have a regular electrical box in the ceiling installation would be a breeze. The push connectors which come with the fitting make quick work of connections. I would buy more and would recommend these led light fixtures to anyone looking for a change. Update 1 : I bought a few more of these lights to replace old fixtures in my house. One has some issue with the diffuser. The seller was very prompt in sending me a replacement. 5 starts for service.
