These are perfect sprinkler protectors!
Our new puppy was tearing up/chewing off all our micro-spray sprinklers in the back yard! Some had been replaced 3 times!! Yikes -- at $3 each it was getting expensive and not making the gardeners happy either! So . . . I got creative and ordered some of these (some others were spiral shaped and I knew he could get his paw in there!) just to try. And voila!! Perfection. I ordered extra long garden staples and of the 25 we've put in so far, he has not been able to destroy one sprinkler! Yes, it's an expensive investment, but you only have to do it once! He even tried chewing on on of these steel protectors, to no avail! These things are strong! So I highly recommend them . . . as sprinkler protection. And you can keep the included screws for future use! Great items, so get creative!

Great for protecting your sprinklers
I have exposed sprinklers in my garage and I was worried that I would knock one of them with a ladder or piece of lumber. Now that I put these up, I donโt worry anymore. Theyโre easy to install and super solid once theyโre up. Totally worth it for the peace of mind.

Works exactly as needed
These worked perfectly for my garage. Comes with 3 easy screws for drywall. The guards are bigger than you think (which is a good thing.) They wonโt be providing absolute protection but frankly none will. Itโs the exact peace of mind I was looking for.

Good protection, bad hardware
Dry wall anchors provided didn't work/hold to ceiling. Used others I had. Otherwise was easy to install and gives peace of mind

Curious Boys, Bunkbeds, and Fire Sprinklers - What Could Go Wrong?!
My daughter recently moved into a brand new home that included a residential fire suppression system that has sprinklers in the ceilings of every room. Her 5 year old and 3 year old love going to water, having water balloon fights, and playing under the lawn sprinkler. They're very curious about this feature of their new home and asked numerous questions about the sprinkler while "helping" me assemble their new bunk bed which placed one sprinkler head well within arm's reach when standing on the top of the ladder. Questions like, "What happens if someone ACCIDENTALLY touches that little red tube in the sprinkler there? ... ACCIDENTALLY I mean!" I explained to the kids that while the sprinkler would extinguish any fire and keep them safe it would also destroy all of their toys, all of the Pokemon and Dinosaur decals on their new walls, their new bunk bed, and all of their clothes. Their wide eyes and nodding heads confirmed that they understood what I was saying but after a few minutes of thought came the follow-up question, "But what if someone touches it by ACCIDENT?" So I didn't put the mattress on the top bunk that day and was literally not able to sleep that night. I drew up an emergency procedure for my daughter and made sure she knew where the system's shut off valve was located - 4 stories below that bedroom in the utility closet in the garage!. As I thought about the amount of water that would be discharged by the time she learned of the ACCIDENT, made her way to the garage to shut off the water, and the residual 150lbs of pressure bled through the single sprinkler head ACCIDENTALLY activated I recalled a Shark Tank episode where a firefighter pitched a modified set of vice grips designed specifically to stop the water from a single sprinkler head. I found and purchased that QUICKSTOP QCOM and during that search discovered these Happy Tree Guard covers and purchased them as well - both with next-day shipping! As soon as these Guards were delivered I was back on the ladder installing them on both sprinkler heads in that bedroom. They went on super easy and look fantastic. While they don't 100% prevent from that ACCIDENT happening they 1) make the sprinkler head much less obvious (tempting) and 2) make it a little more difficult for someone to create that "accident". The QUICKSTOP is also now strategically hidden in the room and the first step in the emergency response procedure. The mattress is now on the top bunk and at the risk of jinxing things I'm happy to say that I'm sleeping well.

Great product
Very well made, strong, look better installed than I expected. Very easy to install. Great piece of mind now knowing that an accidental hit wonโt set off the sprinklers in my condo. 2 thumbs up ๐๐.

Great protection for sprinkler heads
Working in the hotel industry, I get nervous about anyone accidentally damaging a sprinkler head....and the aftermath. I purchased these for kitchen areas where the ceilings are quite low and have a high risk of getting knocked. I removed the flimsy cages that are supplied as standard and replaced them with these. They fix directly onto the ceiling and offer much more protection.

sturdy, well constructed cage to protect fire sprinkler head
When we received the fire sprinkler head cages we ordered, I thought they looked quite big. However, they fit perfectly onto our ceiling fire sprinkler head, with plenty of space around the sprinkler head that makes the installation easy The cages are well constructed and sturdy. Even the accompanying plastic anchors for nails are of good quality. I recommend this product.

Exactly what I was looking for
These guards are steel with a soft rubber (?) coating that's pleasant to touch (not that you will touch them again after installation). No instructions are included, but if you can't figure it out yourself, you shouldn't be drilling holes in the ceiling beside a sprinkler head. Includes screws, drywall anchors (crappy ones but good enough) and washers to secure them. I have some on the ceiling and some on the wall sprinklers. With light walls, the white cage actually looks nicer than a naked metal sprinkler head. If you're worried about banging a sprinkler head and flooding your home, buying these should be a no brainer.

Solid build
Love the product itself, donโt like the drywall anchors they give or the soft metal screws.
