Purchased for my daughter's ipod. It was left outside during a heavy rain and it was definitely waterproof! The extender for the earbuds nor the kickstand on the back of the case didn't last too long so I ordered another extender. She is 10 and can be rough with delicate items so not sure if it was the quality of the extender or her roughness.
