If you’ve never grown borage before, you’re missing out on one of the easiest and most rewarding plants for both looks and taste. These seeds germinated quickly and grew into strong, healthy plants that seemed to thrive with very little fuss. Within weeks, I had tall, leafy stems crowned with stunning blue star-shaped flowers that looked like something out of a fairytale. Beyond their beauty, the flowers are edible and add a quirky splash of colour to salads and drinks. I’ve been dropping them into ice cubes for summer cocktails, and they never fail to get a reaction from guests. The leaves are also a great little addition in the garden as a companion plant — they seem to attract pollinators like bees on a mission. What I love most is how they transform a corner of the garden into something wild yet elegant. They reseed themselves too, so I’m expecting them to pop up again next year without much effort. For a packet of seeds that costs next to nothing, the return is ridiculously generous.

Almost too successful! Nearly took over the veg bed. Sadly didn’t know the leaves were prickly so bunnies won’t eat them!

Grew very easily, provided a wealth of bee friendly star shaped blue flowers on first season. Wish I had more space. Hoping they bush out a bit next year.

I bought this scattered the pack in March and flowers lasted until early November. When all the other plants had died it was still attracting bees before they went into hibernation. Great product
