Mini Garlic Press, Green

I find this an efficient way to chop or slice my garlic. It is a great design. I like the "cleaners' that are included, much better than the little combs that usually come with a device like this one. Unfortunately before we even used the press, the cleaner piece bent as we were removing it so it is already cracked. It is quite a tight fit. I do love that your garlic goes into a little container, just be careful to turn the opening in the correct direction. It is a nice size and easy to use and it comes apart for easy cleaning.

This is a little gadget that is excellent to slice and dice garlic. The small size of the particles is perfect for me. They are slightly larger then you can have from the hand-held garlic press, but I personally prefer this one. It easy to clean and very easy to use. The only warning I can give: after you use it, you need to wash it right away (as you do with any garlic press anyway), but if you are in a hurry and do not have too much time, be careful when you put this press apart for washing. There are two additional parts that can be removed from each side (the plastic green one) - which allows cleaning to be a very easy, but at the same time you will have many parts to put back, so try not to loose them : ). I personally have a kitchen towel on the table next to the sink on which I put all parts after washing them. Then I dry the plastic parts with another towel and assemble the garlic press. I like it very much and will use for long time.

JUNK, PURE JUNK...the blades broke on the second small hunk of garlic, I tried it a second time with a smaller hunk of garlic and the rest of the slicing blades fell out !!

I love the garlic press. Easy to clean as the grid that presses the garlic has a protective piece that lifts out easily and prevents the garlic from getting caught up in the press. Only complaint is that the pin holding the lid on one end slipped out, and I had to snap it back in. Blades are strong and sharp. Great for garlic and shallots.

This is an interesting gadget. As a garlic slicer, it works okay. As a press, when the garlic goes through the holes, it doesn't exactly mince it because it depends on the thickness of the clove. But why I gave it the mark I did was because it does not clean as easily as the description says. Garlic is sticky and little pieces of the garlic stick on the blades in the slicer and mincer and also in between the groves on the top. I have to take a tooth pick and pick out the garlic that gets stuck. There's no other way to get it clean.

I was tired of struggling to get the leftover garlic out of my metal garlic press. This one works very well and has a little brush to clean out any pieces that are stuck. Very convenient to be able to get slices as well. The tiny pieces that come out of the other side are a little bit bigger than a regular garlic press which I also like. Not just a squishy mess.

I've been looking for something that was easy to use and dishwasher-safe with stainless steel blades. This product was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I had been using a little garlic mincer that rolled on wheels with a rotating blade, but the minced garlic was difficult to remove from the bottom of the small receptacle and was surrounded by the blade. This garlic press has a little draw that pulls out which makes the garlic easily accessible. I also love the dual feature of this product where you can either mince or slice the garlic. It fits nicely in a kitchen draw and doesn't take up much space. Highly recommended if you like using fresh garlic like we do!

It is very small. Large cloves need to be cut in half in order to use it. Another issue, is the chopping side doesn't chop the garlic very finely. If it is a thick clove, the chunks are as thick as that clove. It doesn't mince it, which is what I had imagined it doing. It was also hard to clean, getting the pieces out of the blades is a pain. And the slicing blades bent the first time I used that side and now that side won't close. It is a great idea, but the product itself wasn't great.
