Don't expect a perfect fit
This is NOT the AC-1304, it's the crappy "upgraded" NLS-1304 that uses a proprietary power supply instead of standard USB-C like the "old" one. Every time I touch it, it wants to take my network down for an upgrade and doesn't let me say no. Bought it to add to my existing mesh. Not that happy but I don't expect to get the right one if I return it. It works.

Easy Addition to 3year old system 3 unit system
I thought this was a refurbished unit, but it came new in original box. Installed in our mesh system in a few minutes. Adding unit improved coverage in a far corner of the house. Total of 4 units in system with no degradation of signal at original 3 units.

Works great, no instructions
Once I got it up and running it works great. Problem is they don't give you ANY instructions. Package tells you to look online for instructions. Which is fine, except not when your trying to replace your Internet connection with a newer one!! Very frustrating! Once up and running, zero problems

They work as expected. No issues with installation. Hide well on shelves and couches.

Initially bought 2 for my girlfriends house. She lives in a 1600-2000 sq ft. detach house where the internet modem is located in the far corner of the master bedroom. With a long Ethernet cable, I was able to place the Wi-Fi closer to the master bedroom door leading to the hallway. Now the whole house (including basement) has access to the internet. Watching a show or movie on Netflix is now achievable as the signal strength is pretty good throughout the house. Setup was quick and easy using the Google Wifi app. The app allows you to check your network connection, see who's connected and prioritize certain connections. You can also make changes or test your internet speed even while you're away from home. For my application, 1 Wi-Fi system is enough to cover the house. However, if you need more, you can pair more together to create a bigger mesh network using the Google Wifi app.

Bought two of these two cover my 2500 square foot 3 floor house. Deco m5 system I had previously just did not get the job done at all. Have an ethernet backhaul between the two mesh points located in opposite corners of the house on different floors. Blazing wifi throughout the house, typically 90% + of my wired internet speed. The app is simple, yes, but is customizable enough for my liking. I used to enjoy digging around in Wifi settings, have set up many a custom firmware in my day but at this point just want 'set it and forget it'. This achieved that goal after about a 5 minute setup. Would recommend this to anyone hands down.

I've been using this for a year and I have to say the node/device assignment sucks! I've got 4 of them through the house and it always connects my phone to the access point that's furthest away. They don't let you open settings & force the device to use a closer node either - basic networking fail. Google should let you force a device to connect to a closer node when it's on the opposite side of the house! Why this is not a feature in the app, I don't know. Google's automatic network/device assignment sucks for devices that move around the house! I had to turn off wifi to write this review as the phone is assigned to the node that is a floor down and on the opposite corner of the house, when I'm literally sitting next to one in the bedroom. I've tried calling in and getting support, but they say that there's no way to force the device to a different node other than unplugging it. I'm going to have to put my Google access point on a smart plug to be able to turn the power off remotely when I'm upstairs so it will force connect to a closer one. Should not have to do this.

Works great. I had wifi signal issues on the top floor and after installing two of these my range has improved considerably. No more dropping wifi. Speed may not be great when I checked. But anything above 50MBPs at every corner of the house sounds good to me for now. Note : I have a 500mbps connection. And Google wifi shows 200mbps (when I check with Google wifi app and I've read that, they check speeds based on what you get from their servers typically when you watch YouTube or access Google) while speed test.net shows 450+ (they look at nearest server) But as any 5Ghz connection you need to be near the router to get these speeds. Overall I would recommend this for any tech challenged folks as it's a breeze to install it.
