Review: Does what it says on the tin. Good range, flawless function. - I used this to add remote control to some air valves, so I can step safely around the corner while seating the beads on tires. It's fantastic for that, but one remote immediately vanished upon opening the package -- they're so small! -- I had to ziptie the other one to a hubcap to keep it from following suit. So, if you want a super small remote, this is great! Also, it has a little slide cover that protects the buttons from accidental presses in one's pocket. Cute. Sort of fiddly, being so small, but it does work. I believe it can be reprogrammed for a bunch of other modes, like all EV1527-based setups, but the default momentary mode is precisely what I needed, so I haven't explored that. Range is pretty good, at least to the far corner of the building, which is more than I need. I haven't tried to see how far it actually goes. The little box is actually a bit small, hard to hide any additional wiring in front of the terminals. Barely adequate there, but it's easy to transplant into a bigger box if the application demands it. The board actually has screw holes! Love this thing. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

It turns a ride-on from “white knuckle” to actually enjoyable for parents. Pairing/setup was straightforward and the remote response is quick enough to matter in real life (not a delayed gimmick). Range has been plenty for normal neighborhood driveway/yard use, and the buttons are intuitive so other adults can grab it and figure it out immediately. Biggest win: this was a hit with the neighborhood kids because the little ones can participate safely while an adult has control when needed. If you’re doing any Power Wheels/ride-on project and want maximum safety, this is one of the best upgrades you can add.

I used this to add remote control to some air valves, so I can step safely around the corner while seating the beads on tires. It's fantastic for that, but one remote immediately vanished upon opening the package -- they're so small! -- I had to ziptie the other one to a hubcap to keep it from following suit. So, if you want a super small remote, this is great! Also, it has a little slide cover that protects the buttons from accidental presses in one's pocket. Cute. Sort of fiddly, being so small, but it does work. I believe it can be reprogrammed for a bunch of other modes, like all EV1527-based setups, but the default momentary mode is precisely what I needed, so I haven't explored that.
