Review: Good tarp - Used this on a recent biking trip in Spain and France. So only used it on one trip, however it performed very well. The tarp material seems good quality. Time will tell. It kept very heavy rain off my MSR Elixir 2P tent beneath and shielded it from strong afternoon sun preventing my tent from becoming very hot. On one campsite I had it up for 4 days and nights and it performed faultlessly. I have the camo version which at fist I thought would be a bit of an in your face eye catcher but it's not as it is quite a dark pattern. The tarp itself comes with 8 bright orange guy ropes and pegs. The pegs are really quite strong and none have bent so far so I am well impressed. The only negative is that I want a slightly larger one say 4m x3m or 4m x4m, but RYACO only seem to do this size 3m x 3m which just about covers my MSR Elixir 2P tent with some over hang for a porch but at the other end my rent is exposed (see attached pic) which is why I would like a slightly larger one. Apart from this everything is good. It packs down fine and easily into the supplied bag also camo. I did buy an additional 15m of paracord to tie between two trees on which to hang this as the ridge which worked well. I used two upside down walking poles to lift one side. Very pleased all round with this tarp. RYACO please make/supply larger versions. 4m x 4m. Review: Perfect for kids - I am a supply teacher and bought a few of these for lots of kids in different schools. I've used them in all weathers and have stood up to use and abuse from lots of kids. Really impressed with the pegs as the simple ones get bent on their first outing. Not these though - so far none of the kids have been able to make even the slightest dent in them! Some kids AND other staff have asked where I got them from so may have helped a few further sales! Just a couple of tiny negatives (though not enough to drop to 4 stars) Firstly the clips supplied are a bit fragile - I've had a couple break but they are easily replaced. Secondly - the camo tarps also have camo peg bags. The accessory which came with it were really helpful too. So used it for a week and it held its own in the heavy rain and sunlight. Its light weight to carry and packs easily away.
