The immediate result was the music helped me to fall asleep and to remain asleep! Yet, surprisingly, it is equally effective as background music for studying or when used as yoga flow music. After purchasing the CD I recognized one of the pieces on NPR. It is being used as a musical interlude between segments on some "Morning Edition" programs. The music has a distinctively harmonizing effect upon the listener. I was not acquainted with Steven Halpern's music and purchased the CD based solely on the title.
